I sit here, a man who has dealt with crippling anxiety my whole life, even looking back at my childhood years I realize now that the difficulties I was having but didn’t fully understand yet were anxiety related. Thinking about this and sitting here while I’m smoking a doob on a bit of Valium and gabapentin, I’m so thankful. I’m thankful for this relaxing day and even though people can scare you with what it will be like when you have to taper off or this or that.. I’d just like to take this moment to thank benzodiazepines for giving me a little break and peace of mind while I deal with the storm of chaos that my life can sometimes be. Thank you for being the eye in the middle of the storm. A safe place for a little bit while I prepare for the next storm. Thank you.
