I genuinely cannot express my disappointment. I waited, and waited, and waited for this game for years. I sat there through constant delays. And what was the reward? A downgrade to a previous game from 2014. This feels more like a fan game than anything, and its heartbreaking. I love MOWAS2, its easily one of if not my favorite RTS games. And they took all of that, went through like 10 years of development, and made it worse. Please, if you see any redeeming quality in this mess, go play Assault Squad 2. Its old but somehow better than this. So overall complaints out of the way, a list.

- Good things -
1. Slightly more up to date graphics and animation. Really not saying much given the previous games.
2. Extensive content.
3. Much better looking UI. In some places, ill get to that.
4. Less brain damaged AI. Again, a low bar.
5. Better reinforcements. As in sandbags etc.

- Bad things -
1. Ingame UI is ABYSMAL. It looks and runs like literally nobody tested it.
2. Camera is subpar.
3. Armored vehicles got World of Tanks'd. What moron thought health bars were a smart idea?
4. Most of the MOWAS2 problems and gripes are still around. Think unit names being jank.
5. Multiplayer unit rewards. You are not Company of Heroes. Stop trying.
6. Everything is online, even the singleplayer. People are saying that's temporary, but it really shouldn't exist at all.
7. Poorly designed missions. Things like pacing, terrain, and even just size are awkward and poorly done. There are dozens of mods alone for MOWAS2 that blow it out of the water completely.
8. MASSIVELY delayed. I think 2-3 years if i recall correctly.
9. A bit overpriced. Even if it were good, that's kind of a lot.
10. Art, subtitles, and VA are literal trash. AI would've been better even.

- Other Thoughts -
I'm sure there are other positives i missed, and i'm sure there are countless negatives i did too. Honestly? Its not worth your money. I'm gonna go refund this after i get a screenshot of that disgusting UI for my friends. Even if its on sale i would still advise avoiding it. The first mission i played i was bored within the first few minutes, probably one of the worst things that you can say about a game. And for reference, i have about 250-270~ hours in MOWAS2 in just singleplayer, i can play those PvE campaigns and missions all day and be happy. So for ME to get bored of a brand new one? That's just sad.

- TLDR -
MOW has fallen, billions must play COH.
Seriously though, they not only dropped the ball, they fell on it and broke their head open. Do not buy.
