Some players use the meta (perks, items, add-ons, offerings, and voice chat — all of which can give them an advantage) and still act toxic after the match. There's a difference between crouch-spamming during a match and saying things like "ez," "noob," "p2w," and other toxic stuff afterward.

Ever since I started playing Dead by Daylight, I've mostly played for fun, not to prove anything to anyone. I use offerings, add-ons, and items. I simply play with the perks I enjoy instead of always running the meta.

I play Survivor as well, so I understand both sides of the game and how things look from each perspective. Sometimes, I'll give the Killer a free kill if things are going really badly or if they're being friendly. I might even pretend they outplayed me just to make the match more enjoyable.

I don't tryhard every single game. Sometimes, I'll let Survivors escape even when I could have killed them. I might mess around a little (deliberately miss a hit, pretend I didn't notice someone, and so on) just to make things more entertaining.

And yes, I believe camping, tunneling, and slugging are perfectly valid strategies. They're part of the game, not something forbidden. People who scream "camper" or "tunneler" and throw insults over these tactics often use them themselves — they just don't want to admit it.

I don't send toxic messages, and I don't see the point in doing so. I just play my own way and enjoy the game. People take this game way too seriously.

I report anyone who behaves aggressively, insults me or my teammates, or uses cheats. Nobody needs toxic players in their games.
