Early Access Review
It is literally the best adult-only game out there. At first, I was shocked to see some stuff in the game but slowly I came to discover fetishes I didn't know I had. I like the fact that most of the major explicit scenes have a story and choices that impact the outcome. The Steam version gets updated once every 3 months but if you pay them more money on other sites, you'll get more frequent updates along with some other perks. Overall development process of this game is very slow but quite active. This game is not gonna feel outdated like many other games of its genre) anytime soon because they're a surprisingly small but talented development team and the player-base is very active. The game has incredible graphics and it doesn't require you to restart the game if your change some graphics settings. As of writing this review, a lot of the dialogues aren't voiced yet, so you'll have to rely on subtitles to understand what is being said. You can customize your character on the go and even change its race without having any impact on the story, which is awesome because some scenes require you to have a specific type of race or a body part. For the most part, once you complete a quest and get to experience a somewhat interactive scene, you'll be able to replay the scene again. I would love to see a feature that just gives you all the scenes regardless of the story progression. The development process still has a long road ahead but the developers actually listen to the players, it's just that sometimes the Steam version feels outdated because on other sites, you get new updates quite frequently, depending on how much you pay. Some of the stuff in this game are annoying such as having to start a new game after every major update / every 3 months. And of course, there are bugs and glitches in this early-access title but they are surprisingly rare compared to other early-access games on Steam. I have this game for more than 2 years and I come back every few months to see what new content they have added and honestly, this feels like a journey. Of course I recommend this game if you're into this kind of stuff but if you want more updates, you should probably skip the Steam version and purchase it on other sites that offer more support to the development team as well as gives you some other perks.

I am the one true simp and I can prove it.

I bought the "OnlySimps Subscription" DLC but since that DLC did not also add "Simpy Mistress" DLC to my account as stated on the DLC page, I bought that too using real, hard-earned money of my parents.

Since I have all of of its DLCs which include a glorious OnlySimps Subscription, I now declare myself the Simp King. Bow before me and give my reviews as many Awards as you can to please the Simp King. With my blessings, one day you could be the next Simp King.

Start throwing your Steam Points on this review.
Awards are offerings to the Simp King of course, he demands that this review gets awarded.

Let me start by saying that this game is so rigged, manipulative and can be dangerous to people with gambling problems or really bad O. C. D. so, people with less self-control should not be playing this game in my honest opinion.
You can play solo in 1v1, with random people in 2v2 Team Battle, with a friend in a Premade Team Battle, in Guild Premade Battle or create custom matches. You can also purchase Adventures to play against AIs that try too hard to make you feel like the game has a story. You can always Challenge same bots to try out different decks and your new experiments before playing against real players. I must say that this game is not Pay-to-Win in any way as of now, which is great but I did spend a lot of money on it, mostly for cosmetics.

The Matchmaking

There are 10 ranks in total, Wood, Stone, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Master, Grand Master and Contender. You mostly play with bots until you reach Bronze rank, even in Team Battle. But the matchmaking is so rigged and carefully designed to make the player feel accomplished or spend money on the game. Let me give some examples. You can get a long win streak if you're a decent player but in Draft or Mayhem, the game will put you against players that are way higher than you when it comes to ranks and are probably much better and competitive players too - after you get at least 4 wins, just to make you lose or want to think that you were so close to get 12 wins, maybe another try would be worth the money. The Tri-Team Tourney is rigged so much as well. Your key drop rate will start to get really low if you're winning too much but if you lose a lot of matches on purpose, the game will most likely put you against a dumb bot or a poor player and make that a Prize Fight to make you feel good.
Also, the matchmaking is sometimes so unfair, if you win a Prize Fight or rank up, chances are that you'll most likely have to fight someone who is 2-3 ranks higher than you. I have had so many matches where the game had put me against Grand Masters or Contenders while my solo rank was only Platinum. This is a good strategy to make the player lose unfairly, if they are winning too many matches.
Worse thing about the matchmaking is that the developers never admit that their game has bots. We know that you play against bots in the very early levels, in a few fights as a tutorial but I'm not talking about that. From Bronze to Platinum, you can find so many obvious bots, especially in Bronze where your opponent has a Legendary Arena, Skin and Card(s) but plays like poop just to make you win and feel better, keep playing etc. I'm fine with bots, what bothers me is that the developers refuse to tell people that they use bots, people are not that dumb, just one .dll file can expose everything and did actually expose everything at one point.
All that being said, the game is good and really fun to play when the matchmaking is fair. I'm not the one to care about winning or losing if the matchmaking is fair and when a Platinum player is not getting matched against a Contender.

Rigged Power Tower / Tokens

There are 4 kinds of cards you can get, Common, Rare, Supreme and Legendary. The game has more than 200 cards, so you'll most likely get access to a lot of different cards early enough. But once you progress enough in the game, your drop rate will get rigged. You'll keep getting Common or Rare cards only and copies of the cards you already have. If you stop playing the game for a week or so, you'll start getting so many Supreme and Legendary cards all of a sudden, when you come back. This is just another trick to hold on to the player. Since I have all of the available cards at the moment, I don't see much problem with it and can't tell how it affects new players.

Moderation Team

Some of the moderators are fair, some don't even do anything, some just join the trolls and some like to abuse their power. One time, I was fighting spam with spam which was wrong and I did get a fair warning for that but just after a few minutes, I got another warning from that same moderator for being toxic in the chat. I don't know what his definition of toxicity is but I know that I was not toxic. He said that he can issue a time-out for me, I thought it would be risky to respond to him. That was my first warning at level 138, if I remember correctly. I think I quit the game just to be safe because I did not want to receive a ban.

Developers

As I said before, the developers keep saying that the game doesn't have any bots while it clearly does have a lot of bots and almost everything is carefully rigged. I'm fine with bots but I don't like it when the development team refuse to tell players the truth. They also like to blame Valve a lot when they fail to release a bug-fix, patch or an update. I do like the fact that almost all of the developers that I have encountered in the chat are friendly and know how to take a joke, unlike the moderation team.
I have spent so much money on this game, you can buy several AAA games with the money that I have spent on this game. But, when I needed help, I did not get any help from the developers. I did send them several emails but did not get any responses. I once asked a developer in the chat about it and gave him my email address, he said that they did get all my emails and at least he was honest enough to admit that they did not respond to any of my emails for whatever reason. People can get help quickly if they use Steam Discussions or their official Discord but ignoring emails of players is a poop move.
They are slow learners when it comes to listening to what the player-base want in the game. This is a complex game to develop, I know that but there's also no ignoring the fact that in every single update, they had screwed up the game real nice for everyone. They do try to fix it but it takes time and several patches and tweaks to balance stuff out. Their English version of the game had so many errors and typos for such a long period of time. Whenever they release a new content, people always seem to find an easy way to exploit the game and win, everyone does that and I don't blame the players, I blame the developers for not testing stuff before releasing an update and not listening to the player-base. From the last update, I can tell that things have improved and let's just hope that they keep improving. It is definitely worth mentioning that if you subscribe to their newsletter, you can get redeemable codes for the game every month and most of the time when they release a DLC on Steam, it is usually free for a few days which is awesome and it increases the player-base.

The Season Pass

Every Season Pass lasts for about 1 month. This game used to feel like Pay-to-Win but now, literally nothing is Pay-to-Win in this game. Although, they are clearly running out of new card ideas and the price of the paid Season Pass is not worth it at all in my opinion unless you're looking to get a Legendary Skin or an emote or avatar that you really like. You can get all the new cards from the free pass that you get if you just play enough. Once you reach the last tier of the Season Pass, there is no point in playing in my opinion, if you did not pay. If you did pay for the Season Pass, the rewards are so poop after you reach the last tier of the Season Pass which is usually 50. You can get up to tier 150+ if you play daily for just a few hours but the rewards for each tier is just awful. At least the game is not Pay-to-Win at all as of writing this review.

Conclusion

I used to like this game a lot but now I'm slowly losing interest in it because of the matchmaking system. I did spend a ton of money on this game but have never heard back from the support team when I needed help even though it was confirmed that they are receiving my emails. This is a really fun and addicting game in spite of all of the negative things I said about it.

One of the best story-rich FPS of all time.

If you've played BioShock 1 & 2, especially 1, then you're in for a treat & I'd suggest you to buy both Burial at Sea DLCs. The ending of the main game will blow your mind. Those DLCs kinda travels back to the very beginning & wrap things up, explains what started it all, why & when.
If you've never played any previous BioShock games, I'd suggest you to buy this game anyway for the amazing game-play mechanics paired with a unique combat system. Stay away from both Burial at Sea DLCs as you'll probably have no idea what's going on.
Get Clash in the Clouds DLC for some creative combat challenges. Columbia's Finest DLC isn't worth it unless you're looking to complete your BioShock collection.

Environment
The game takes place in a floating city. The city is really beautiful & no place feels empty. The game does an awesome job at visual storytelling as you'd expect from a BioShock game. There are so many assets in every corner of the map, which makes you wanna actually take the time to look at them instead of just walking past them to continue with your current objective. It's worth mentioning that you never die from falling off the city during combat or exploration. You'll just spawn very close to the area you were in - almost instantly without any consequences. You can still die from dropping to the ground from really high heights though, especially if your health is low. If you're looking for some good soundtracks, this game has none. No music matches with the different atmospheres the game has to offer. This is really not that noticeable because most of the time there's several sound effects of whatever is happening around you, along with various NPC dialogues. Almost every level has some Sky-Lines & Freight Hooks which is an awesome way to traverse the area. Overall, the world feels very detailed & alive. Don't expect realistic graphics though, as the game is from 2013 but still, I think graphics could have been better. Lights are way too bright in some places & it can be annoying at times. Meshes of a few objects look really outdated. At least Elizabeth looks beautiful - you don't want to spend your time with a character that looks ugly. Engraved weapons look great too.

Story
I'll try my best not to spoil anything but if you think you should skip this section, feel free to do so.
When you arrive at the floating city, the game puts all the combat aside to let you take a good look at what kind of things you might expect to encounter in the near future, that level is very well designed. It's like a tutorial without it feeling like a tutorial, if that makes sense. Unlike the previous games where the main climaxes were at the very end, this game throws in some twists every now & then but saves the big surprise for the end. This doesn't make any of your mission feel boring even though the game is quite long. There are Voxophones scattered throughout the game which serve as audio logs & most of them contain important information of the main story-line. I highly recommend finding & listening to all of them. You'll do most of your journey with Elizabeth. She'll interact with various objects in the world & speak some dialogues at certain locations, after seeing some objects etc. You'll never feel like you're with a lifeless character the game is forcing you to be with for the story. She has so many dialogues & some of them are surprising & funny. The story of this game is really very complex. It's a good thing that you can replay every single chapter of the game. So if you don't understand something (especially near the end), just replay the chapter & try to listen carefully what the character(s) are saying. There is only 1 ending however, you'll be presented with some choices during the main story-line, none of them will affect the ending. The choice to throw the ball in the early level has a benefit of giving you 1 extra Gear later in the game. Choosing what Elizabeth wears (bird or cage) is purely cosmetic. Choosing to take a knife to the hand or shooting first is mostly cosmetic too except it'll only affect 2 dialogues in the same level & won't be brought up again.

Game-play
You have 1 weapon in one hand & 1 Vigor in the other. Vigors provide unique powers that can help you in combat & with some other stuff in the environment. Using vigors require Salts. Elizabeth can find salts, money, health & ammo for you from time to time, even during combat. There are total 14 weapons & 8 vigors in the main game. 12 of your weapons & all vigors can be upgraded. You can have 2 weapons at a time, not counting the melee weapon & can have all of your vigors at the same time but can only carry 2 vigors for quick-access. All upgrades require purchases using in-game money in different types of vending machines. There are total 3 different vending machines that you can use: "Minuteman's Armory" for upgrading weapons, "Veni! Vidi! Vigor!" for upgrading vigors & "Dollar Bill" for purchasing general stuff like ammo, health & salts. These machines can be found in lots of places. You can find in-game currency Silver Eagles in so many places in the game. You can search tons of things in the world to find food, ammo, salts, health & money. All this might seem a bit confusing but it's really not. You can do a little trick on vending machines with a vigor of yours to get more benefits.

Combat
Combat is awesome in the game & there are a lot of enemy encounters. What makes combat fun is the combination of vigor usage & taking advantage of sky-lines among other stuff thanks to Elizabeth. Using a vigor followed by another one can have cool effects. You have an arguably invisible Shield that absorbs some of the damage before breaking but it recharges automatically & infinite number of times without the need of any resources. Don't be disappointed in the fact that you can only carry 2 main weapons at a time. There's always that perfect weapon for that perfect situation - dead enemies also drop weapons. You can choose to keep a heavy hitting weapon as a secondary for emergencies & keep switching your primary weapon to try out different stuff as there are a lot of weapons available. Enemy encounters, most of the time come with a few normal enemies, some machines & a mini-boss near the end. There are 11 enemy types in the main game. From the weakest to strongest (in my opinion): Founder's Police & its Vox alternative, Gun Automation, Mosquito, Rocket Automation, Zealot of the Lady, Beast, Fireman, Boy of Silence, Motorized Patriot & its Vox alternative, Siren, Handyman & its Vox alternative. Of course, you'll not encounter them in that order in the game. You can temporarily turn any enemy into your side, ask for Elizabeth's help in combat & can do really great stuff if there's a sky-line available near the fighting area. It's important to note that Elizabeth doesn't need protection during any combat encounters as she'll stay hidden behind a cover. Elizabeth can help you by opening a Tear of your choice during combat, that can bring weapons / ammo / health / salts / freight hooks / covers etc. You have a useful melee weapon that can perform executions on most enemies & it also helps you use freight hooks & sky-lines. Defeating mini-bosses require different strategies & it's a good thing. Some of the vigors are great for laying down traps & for specific enemy types while others are just fun to use in general.

Conclusion
This game has a mind blowing story & one of a kind combat system. It's so hard to think of any reason why I should not recommend this to someone. Get this game even if you don't care about the story, the combat & overall game-play will more than make up for it.

Oh my! Those big sisters like it rough! It's so satisfying to drill them.

In my opinion this game is so underrated.

You play as the first successful Big Daddy creation in BioShock 2. The story focuses more on the creation and bonding of big daddies at first but moves on to and stays on ideas of different people, morals, good and evil etc. This game has 3 spare / kill choices apart from what you do with little sisters and has total 6 different endings. Endings are actually satisfying, all of them.

The story is easy to follow and you don't need to go looking for audio diaries to understand what's going on - except for those 3 characters that you can kill or spare, knowing their background could be useful but then again, any new story-related information is useful. The antagonist tells you everything as you progress through missions, go to certain locations and it's a nice thing which helps develop the story. Thankfully, the audio is actually good unlike the first game where I could barely understand what was being said. The game does such an amazing job at visual storytelling as well, far better than the previous game I'd say. But there's no huge surprises in the main story and it's a bit predictable. Hopefully I'll not spoil anything by saying that in one level, you play as a little sister. One could argue that the DLC has better story than the base game.

Game-play is slightly different, not too different than the first game. As a big daddy, you have a drill which is useful against hoards of enemies and you can do dash attacks with it. There's this new HUD option which does a good job at making you feel like you're actually inside a metal suit without blocking most of the views. Footsteps sound of the protagonist is also very immersive. Don't go into this game with very high expectations just because you'll be playing as a big daddy. Apart from that drill, everything is pretty much the same as the first game except for a really messed up research camera which thankfully is only needed to be used once for the story. You'll be spending a lot of time hacking various stuff and the process of hacking things has gotten better. You have your plasmids and tonics which you can change often to adapt to different situations or just to try out new kinds of play-styles. There are a few underwater stuff but no underwater fights.

Combat has improved slightly due to different enemy attacks. There are new models of different enemy types and it's now easy to tell what type of enemy you're fighting against. There's also unlimited number of enemies - what I mean is that the game spawns enemies again and again in almost every empty area to give you the feeling that you're always gonna be fighting something and not walk around in an empty map. A new enemy type called Big Sister which are the strongest enemies in the game will come at you after you deal with a certain number of little sisters. You'll know that she's coming by hearing her screams which gives you precious time to prepare for the battle. Once you're with a little sister, you can choose to find ADAM for her to gather, during this time you'll need to protect her against a lot of enemies, so laying out traps, hacking drones, cameras & turrets beforehand is a good idea. I almost forgot to mention that you have weapons that can lay several traps which is very fun.

Conclusion: It's not too different from the first game, just focuses on different characters and story. 6 different endings seem a bit too much for my taste but the overall game-play is nice. Enemies have improved a lot. DLC is epic and challenges are so much fun.

Daddy protect
Daddy also attack
There are no laws in Rapture
So daddy drills my back

Sorry, I couldn't resist, I'm only human!

One daddy to rule them all
One daddy to find them
One daddy to drill them all
Then do unspeakable things to them
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Okay, I'll stop. Get this game with the DLC for an amazing experience.

Detailed review without any major spoilers.

The whole game takes place in Rapture - an underwater city. Don't expect to be in the water though. It's hard to follow the story mostly because of the sound quality, almost everything you hear is coming through a radio. There aren't many people you can interact with and by that I mean actual characters that matter. There are literally unlimited number of enemies though. They seem to spawn every now and then so you never feel like you're running around in an empty map.

Speaking of maps, every mission takes place in a huge location which thankfully is not that confusing because of the map which feels like DOOM RPG's map. There are a lot of audio diaries scattered throughout the game and if you're looking to follow the story, you should try to find and listen to every single one of them. If you're not interested in the story the game-play alone is worth the purchase.

Game-play is unique for a game of its time. You can carry various types of weapons in one hand and plasmids in the other. Plasmids are biologically shocking to say the least. There are so many things you can do with different plasmids. You can upgrade both your weapons and your plasmids. Upgrading weapons and plasmids not only changes their power but also changes their look and animation. There are also some passive abilities available which you can gather by collecting tonics. Tonics introduces a bit of RPG elements in the game. You can switch to your preferred play-style by choosing to use different kinds of tonics.

You can upgrade weapons at limited numbers of 'one-use' Power to the People machines which are well hidden or needs some puzzles to be solved in order to get access to. You can upgrade health, EVE and plasmids from Gatherer's Garden machines which are somewhat rare to find. You can purchase ammo at El Ammo Bandito machines which can be found in so many places. You can buy health / EVE / food / drinks at Circus of Values machine which can also be found at plenty of places. You can find ammo, health, EVE, money and foods / drinks throughout the map as well and by searching bodies of dead enemies.

EVE is needed to use plasmids. Foods & drinks can increase your health and decrease your EVE or vice versa or increase both. You can swap your tonics (passive abilities) at a Gene Bank machine which are not available everywhere like the ammo or vending machine. But there's always one or two where you need them. This whole thing may seem confusing but it's actually quite addicting and not confusing at all once you get the hang of it.

Let's come to the story, there are two different endings, a good one and a bad one. The bad ending leaves things at a cliffhanger while the good ending makes most sense. It's also worth mentioning that the game BioShock Infinite assumes that you had picked the good ending - not the bad one. I found both endings to be a bit unsatisfying. The story, as I said before is hard to understand because of the audio quality and the horrible subtitle fonts don't help much. But if you do understand the dialogues and listen to audio diaries, then you'll find out what makes BioShock so great. The story is great. If you are not planning on playing BioShock 2 and Infinite, then the story is just good enough. There are some surprises that will blow your mind. I highly recommend focusing on the story.

Combat is awesome. You can create your unique character builds at Gene Bank machines - combine that with various weapons and plasmid combinations and you're in for a truly great experience. The Big Daddy encounters are way too easy on the easiest difficulty, so I'd suggest cranking up the difficulty a bit to have an even greater experience. You don't have to engage those brutes most of the time but they do provide great rewards and are a big part of the game. Using a Gatherer's Garden machine requires ADAM as currencies and you'll need to engage those big daddies in order to get to the girl he was protecting - the girl has ADAM, how you choose to take it from her though, is up to you and this will affect which ending you're gonna get. Even though there are several enemy types, it does get boring in the long run and they all look kinda same. There are machines which you can hack to get more benefits or make it your own (drones, turrets & security cameras).

Not much left to say except, it's a good game and does an amazing job at visual storytelling. If you're not interested in the story or finding it confusing to follow, get it for the game-play mechanic. If you're not interested in the game-play or finding it confusing, get it for the story. Would you kindly look past some minor flaws and save often?

Horrible controls.

The game would have been fun to play if the developer had put some more control options in it.

Like many others, I bought it because I saw some videos on YouTube. But I'm not going to recommend it to anyone.

It could really use the option to turn on / off hammer physics using a mouse button and the option to use inverted mouse rotation for the hammer.
The game seems to have a limit on the mouse speed even if you use maximum speed on the slider in the game options. Maybe I just feel like it does or it could be a problem with my PC only.

I was really looking forward to this but now I realize that it's probably the controls that makes the game hard rather than the 'start-over' thing. Maybe it works better with a controller or a track-pad, I don't know but I just can't recommend a PC game with such few control options. I'm fine with the 'start-over' thing though.

Yeah I know I kept talking about controls while the game can just be played using mouse movements only. I feel like it shouldn't be the case. Yeah you can use just the mouse to play it but the two options which I mentioned above would be of so much help.
