Best battlefield since bf4

Was extremely hyped for this after playing all the previous games in the franchise as well as the big anomaly modpacks. After delays and a new release a month before Christmas, I was hesitant as I felt it would feel rushed. It finally came and out it was... okay. World feels flat, the POIs are lackluster, extremely uninteresting characters, eh story, gunplay felt off, frames were awful on top end hardware after a few hours of trying to optimize. Gave it some more time to let the devs try to fix what seemed to be the classic "execs pushing devs to release" thing that's been going on the last decade or so. Tried it again and it was the same. Decided to write it off until modders fixed it for them.

Unrelated to the game itself and what simply prompted me to actually write this review, they decided to try to push their weight around and DMCA a small studio making a completely unrelated game that plays entirely different to theirs due to it looking similar and taking inspiration from the great idea of anomalies. Shows what they think about their own products in my opinion if they think small studios releasing games into early access are a threat to their ip and profit margins. They took down a product in the first important window for the dev team, the release into early access, before the team could make any real money to help fund the rest of development after this obvious overstep and clear abuse of copyright law. Hopefully this issue brings attention to yet another abuse of power by a large corporation and also to the indie studio, and with luck will help make up for the large loss in potential revenue for them.

In conclusion, don't buy this game. It's not worth a AAA price tag in the slightest. I'd say it's maybe $20 - $30 game at best. I personally will not be buying games from GSC anymore after this failure and show of corporate greed from the studio.

It wouldn't stop crashing during matches. I verified twice and had reinstalled video drivers. Was already on the fence about buying anymore cod games but my friends convinced me and now I'm solid in my decision.
