Dead by Daylight can be a blast when you’re playing with friends as survivors or messing around in custom matches. The core gameplay is fun and tense, and those moments of escape with your squad feel amazing.

That said, playing solo survivor with randoms can get tedious fast — teamwork is hit or miss, and it’s not nearly as enjoyable. The killers add a good challenge, but some (looking at you, Doctor and Clown) can be downright annoying to go against.

Play with friends, and you’ll have a great time. Go in solo, and you might leave frustrated.
