quake is so good, better than 1993 doom imo
the whole four runes thing is pretty cool - fun gunplay, not enough guns tho but its from the late 90s so that makes sense - graphics look great - the final level of episode 2 is so fun - cool story - yeah that's it
if you like retro shooters def buy quake it's pretty cool

it's one of my favorite games of all time (I still prefer rdr2) because the music, gameplay, level design are all perfect. The difficulty is what throws some people off--it's not that hard.
