This little gem surprised me in the best way. This is another game I played originally on Playstation but ended up buying on PC because it left a big impression on me.

The game follows the adventures of a little lost spirit named Ember who is trying to help other lost souls find their way. It’s simple on the surface, but it quietly hits on themes of loneliness, hope, and finding your purpose. The narration adds this warm, storybook vibe that makes everything feel intimate without ever being heavy-handed.

The gameplay is built around environmental puzzles, and they strike a really nice balance. You solve puzzles to help other lost spirits move on, which feels rewarding. They're clever enough to make you think, but never so hard that they become frustrating. Each new area introduces small twists on the mechanics, so it always feels fresh.

The soft lighting, cozy art style, and gentle music make the whole experience feel calm and safe, even though the themes get a little sad. It’s not a long game, but it’s one that lingers. By the end, it feels less like you beat it and more like you experienced something quietly special. If you're looking for a cozy and emotional puzzle game, give The Last Campfire a try. You won't be disappointed.

I first played A Short Hike on Playstation a few years back. I loved it so much, I ended up purchasing it on Steam. This game is a short and sweet adventure that leaves a surprisingly big impression. You play as Claire, a young bird visiting Hawk Peak Park while waiting for an important phone call. What begins as a simple errand, turns into a heartfelt journey of exploration and self discovery. The story unfolds gently through charming conversations with other hikers, creating a world that feels warm and personal.

Gameplay itself is free and relaxing. Your goal is to reach the peak of the mountain and to do that, you must collect golden feathers that increases your stamina, which is needed to fly longer and climb higher. Flying is especially delightful in this game. Soaring over the landscape feels effortless and joyful, pushing you to explore more, and in return, rewards you with hidden treasures and characters.

What truly makes A Short Hike shine is its atmosphere. The soft, colorful art style paired with the soothing soundtrack creates a cozy atmosphere. Every corner of the island hides a small surprise despite its compact size. It’s a brief experience, but one filled with charm and warmth. This is the kind of game that settles into your heart. I, for sure, won't be forgetting about it anytime soon.
