Just finished my first run of the game, and I have to say, It was really fun.

About This Game
This game is a fun cheap little platformer game where you play as an unnamed character where you traverse through a whole bunch of levels to complete the game.

Levels
There are 100 levels and every time you die, you have to play a level you already completed. If you die while trying to beat the already completed level it sends you back another level, and you then have to complete both of those to get back to the level you have yet to beat.

Difficulty
As you progress throughout the game, the levels get harder and harder. For the most part, this is true, but in some cases, the developer throws in a level that is either quite a lot easier or quite a lot harder than the previous levels. Overall, in terms of the levels though, I found that all of them were quite fun (albeit a few annoying ones), and all of them were fair.

Mechanics
There isn't any info in the game about how to play, although it isn't really necessary because the controls and mechanics are mostly straight forward. The only thing that took me a while to realize is that if you walk off an edge, you can still jump twice while midair if your quick enough with it.

Aesthetics
The aesthetics of this game were quite amazing. The minimalistic and semi-retro feel of it made the game really nice to look at. Due to the style of the game it would seem it would be hard to add nice little details without making it look out of place. Although, this game adds subtle little details for the player to notice at several points during the game, which is a nice little touch that made the experience all the better.

Graphics
Thanks to the simplicity of the art style in this game, I could clearly tell where both the ground and spikes were without any trouble. Throughout the game, there were no points in time where it hurt to look at, and you can play for a long time without having your eyes hurt due to there being no overly bright levels in the game.

Soundtrack
This is one of the few aspects of the game that felt a bit lackluster to me. There's only 1 song in the game as far as I can tell. It's somewhere between 30 and 45 seconds long and is played on repeat throughout the game. It sounds sort of like one of the VVVVVV songs, but with it's own unique twist to it. It's a good song, it just gets repetitive after a while. It helps if you keep the sound somewhat quiet while playing.

Achievements
Some people might consider the achievements in this game to be kind of "spammy" due to an achievement being unlocked for every level you complete. I somewhat agree with that aspect because an achievement for every level seems to be quite a lot, but, I wouldn't change it. It makes you feel like you accomplished something after you complete a level for the first time. Then there are a few achievements that make this game quite a lot more difficult to completely beat. There's an achievement for completing 75 levels in a row without dying, for example. It's doable, it's just it will take you quite a while to do.

Price
For the 2$ that this game sells for, I would say it's completely worth the price. It provides a bunch of content that's actually fun to play. Compared to all the other terrible games being released on the steam store as of late, this game isn't even on the same level. It could be priced at, say, something like 5$ and still sell relatively well.

Developer
This section isn't really about the game, but more so about the developer of the game. When he first released the game, there was a bug where it would crash if you tried to put the game into windowed mode. This in itself is slightly annoying, but the developer responded to the person who asked for a fix and fixed the bug within 12 hours of release. Really amazing developer who actually cares about his game and the people playing it unlike some of the developers who publish a game and then forget about it for a couple years.

Score
Overall I rate this game 8.5/10. I find this game to be way more fun than a lot of the Triple A games that are being released lately. Score would be higher but the soundtrack brings it down quite a bit. I highly recommend this game to anyone who enjoys platformer games!
