I've played hundreds of hours on the disk version and only recently downloaded it on steam (hence my short steam play time). It's a damned good game that's aged spectacularly with a community that knows what's best. With the right mods and a good pc, this game will almost parallel more modern simulators - It also offers coverage of all theatres in World War 2; with mods, World War 1, the Cold War and even 21st century. It's cheap due to its vanilla state but when you download mods you'll realise that you were in for a bargain!

Do YOU want to backstab a morbidly obese Soviet? Do YOU want to headshot a black (not that skin colour matters), one-eyed, alcoholic Scot? Well guess what? You can! But what; there's more! You'll laugh every time you see a full wallet within seconds of launching the game; watch as your life savings get spent in a matter of moments on the most ludicrously expensive pixels that the internet could produce (hats!).




Ps: don't you ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dare compare this game to Overwatch!

Pps: it's a good starter for people who want to get into fps games.

It's a fun game (if you have a good pc). R.I.P potential hours of fun that i could've had blasting planes out of the skies of the English Channel. But, oh well.....



Still, it's a damn good game if you have a really good pc. Let the HD, high realism dogfights begin and good luck in your dogfights.

Got it for a brilliant offer of £2.09. An amazing game that has so many features. Whenever you think that you've completed it, there's always one thing left to do, and that one thing becomes a whole list other things that you haven't done. It's what's a shame with the people that complain about it because of it's similarity to minecraft - they haven't completed it.
