For what it is, a liminal space walking simulator, it gets the job done. The maps are crafted very well, having only the occasional visual/lighting bug and gap in the wall. My biggest gripe with this hunk of garbage is that I cannot slide down the multicolored slides (spoiler alert), and I cannot crawl under the only very crawl-under-able table in the entire map. What a nightmare!

The suburbs were a fun change of pace, progressing out of the dome and through the streets made for an enjoyable challenge.

The hotel was very short and especially empty, it was the first one that really felt like I was playing a Garry's Mod map. There was nothing to really map out in your head, the elevators were always easy to find, and it at least had an objective.

The playrooms I remember fondly and everywhere felt as though it had purpose even if it was just the usual "find the generators" -chris quest type gameplay. It was as enjoyable to map out as the poolrooms.

The dead mall was the worst map and it highlighted every flaw there is in this game and the liminal walking sim genre as a whole. There was no sense of progression, it redefined what getting to a save point meant in a bad way, the fact that the only exit is right next to your start is god awful, and I can go on. This level would have benefited from ANYTHING, hell, multiple exits would've been a great feature. Instead you're forced to sprint gruelingly back and forth through the same places and the game expects you to unlearn what it's taught you the whole time: progress is when the map layout and aesthetics change. The starting mall's design was lackluster, the arcade rooms were insufferable to stay in for longer than 5 minutes, and just when it seemed like you're making progress though the even *liminaler* malls to find the cinema, it loops you back around and asks you to scan every possible corner of the massive empty map. This level design could be forgiven if the player had a skateboard. (Also the trees in the final section of the mall all being the same copy pasted model made it look like ****, I'm not sure if that was some kind of creative direction or pure laziness, but it undermined the entire section and killed the vibe. I can't believe you killed the vibe.)

A good number of bugs have been fixed and the game is still being supported. This game is super fun and chock full of different ways to play. It's superb when you're lucky and when you're unlucky and then get lucky in the end, it turns the game into crack and I want to play it again.
