That appears to have been an issue with Steam itself, based off the new Steam update. Then again, they have done updates to Steam VR for Oculus support in games that don't have Oculus support, like DOOM VFR

yeah I had that problem but I found it only happens in the intro for me.
Get past that, then pull up the overlay and then see if it works bro - assuming you didn't refund it already lol
