This is an awesome party game with some great mechanics. Playing locally is a blast especially because new players can just jump right into the action and pretty much figure out the controls on their own. (There is a tutorial but sometimes you just wanna plug in controllers and start killing each other!)

Though the controls are easy to pick up, there are some rather flashy moves you can pull off once you’ve mastered the basics. Like being able to block incoming projectiles or catch a projectile in mid air and throw it back! Getting a nice kill or chain of kills feels epic and the graphics and music really play their part in adding to this.

There are a bunch of cosmetic unlocks that can be earned in offline or online play which is a nice touch because you can always unlock something for your character each time you play. Out of the game modes my favourite is Juggernaut where you bulk up after getting kills which encourages other players to gang up on you!

Overall, I think the game really shines when played locally with friends. There are some really epic mind games you can play with people once you figure out their playstyle which can be both hilarious and frustrating at times! :D

I would definitely recommend ‘grabbing’ this game and adding it to your local party game collection. ;)
