An absolutely delight - this is unhinged, hilarious, and a joy to play. It's like a rapid-fire party-game/puzzle-game you play solo... with countless ever-fresh challenges and situations to rampage through as the most ridiculous car ever conceived.

Short version: it's rad.

Long version: It's raaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad. (and now harder to steer!)

A fantastic sci-fi roguelite with fun a unique Tech-noir aesthetic, amazing music, and fun characters and setting. I've had a blast with Hadley's Run so far.

Stuff that's rad:
Unique aesthetic
Simple-but-challenging gameplay
Easy mode is available if you want a more chill experience
Lots of options for upgrades/adjustments on your run
Permanent upgrades available
Story an characters are fun so far, and I'm curious to see how things develop
Able to choose more challenging fights for rewards/twists/etc during a run

Stuff to be aware of:
There are some quick changes to bright lights (not often, but on occasion or when jumping into portals).
The music and audio balancing can vary a bit.
Upgrades per-run, at least in the first few hours (I can't speak to later in the game) feel like pretty minor changes. While each run feels unique, some wider variety or more impactful buffs/etc could make them stand out even more.

Homeworld meets Battletech - great ship and fleet customization, countless strategies to try, cool asynchronous factions, music's a banger, and I spend half my time trying to figure out the perfect name for every ship.

I've tried so many other VR rhythm games, but I keep coming back to Synth Riders. Such a fun and customizable experience, great support for custom songs/beatmaps, and a huge variety included (in and out of the DLC).

If you like VR Rhythm games at all, you should at least give this one a try.

This game is amazing. Challenging, gut wrenching and replayable.
