Fun game. The developers engage with the community quite a bit, most of the people whining they don't, simply aren't paying attention..

Most of the recent negative reviews are about a recent rollback that happened. This is due to cheaters exploiting a bug to duplicate millions of bloodstone, causing a ton of damage to the economy. The rollback was the only way to fix the damage, and they said they wanted to avoid it if possible, but it was the only way they could fix the damage caused.

They also are planning out compensation for everyone effected by the rollback. This stuff takes time and planning.

Anyways, back to the gameplay.

The good:

• The loot system. It is very addicting, hunting weapons with rare enchantments is really fun.
  
• Fun simplistic gameplay. It's pretty simple to pick up and figure out how to play, The later tiers can be pretty spooky to play. You really just need to know how to hold left mouse, and occasionally use your special attack (right mouse), with what ever hotkey you have assigned for health potions.
  
• The community. While every community has its share of toxicity, I have found the majority of players on this game to be really friendly. Rarely do you find people in a dungeon who go on and kill the boss without you.
  
• The legacy system. On death you get Valr which you can spend on upgrading 'legacy cards' which enhance your character for that life.

The not so good(the devs have actually said they are working on improving the experience for these):

• The starting size of 30 inventory slots, and 20 vault slots. That fills up very quickly.
  
• The crafting system. While I like the way they did the tiers of craftable items, how long it takes to craft ANYTHING, or even dismantle really sucks. Not being able to craft low tier items while you are deconstructing an item is just really bad. With some items taking well over an hour to dismantle, you're stuck waiting for it to finish if you want to craft anything else, unless you buy a second crafting station.

This game is fairly early in development, and I have little doubts it will continue to get better. If you like to hunt for rare loot with friends, and can overlook its flaws, you should give this game a try.
