I have fond memories of Pokemon Yellow and Dragon Warrior Monsters 2, this scratches that ich while having more modern gameplay system trappings ('EV' style stat manipulation fully under player control, move selection, random encounter control, etc).

My major gripes are that gamepad and resolution support need some work. Gamepad because remapping just isn't working for me (I've tried to change properties) and resolution because it's either itty bitty, or the whole screen.

But I plan on playing the whole thing through.
