Interesting idea and might've actually been a decent game if it wasn't online-only. As it is now, it's not possible to play the game unless you have a group of friends to play with.

A wonderful visual novel. Finished most of it in one sitting. Recommend it especially for people interested in getting into visual novels (this was the first one that I completed).

A very interesting game to say the least. Has the occasional jump scare but it only takes a while to get used to these. Definitely psychadelic. Doesn't take long for the game to get pretty weird but you still maintain a sense of what's going on through the snippets of text you pick up along the way, allowing you to piece together bit by bit wtf is going on. A strong point I'd like to note is the game's use of music. Not only was the soundtrack wonderful, but the use of music allowed you to anticipate what was going to happen (I guess this could also be seen as a con) and the absence of it caused you to hold your breath in anticipation, keeping you at the edge of your seat. Moving on from the music, the gameplay itself was quite linear. The game in essence merely consisted of you moving from one room to the next, and having the door lock behind you as you enter each new room. That being said, the game still finds a way to make itself somewhat engaging and develop a pretty interesting, albiet vague, plot. The game's fairly short as you can see through my playtime. Overall, I'd say the game was pretty decent; definitely give it a go if you're looking for something that's different or just want to see some dolls having seizures. Looking forward to trying the dlc in the near future.

First and foremost, I'd like to start off by clarifying one thing. This game does NOT require a controller to play. It is a bit tricky to get used to the keyboard controls at the very beginning, but after a while it shouldn't be too difficult to get the hang of. I've only played this game on keyboard myself and have only had one or two experiences where it was kind of tough to pass a point in the game because of the keyboard controls. I'm not sure why the game's store page says having a controller is a requirement. Yes, a controller would probably make the game more enjoyable as it would be easier to control both brothers, but not having a controller doesn't make playing the game anywhere near impossible. If the only reason you're hesitating to get this game is because of the "controller requirement" on the store page, get this game. Especially when it hits around $1.5 during sales, there really isn't any reason not to get it.

Moving onto the game itself, it's a nice little adventure game that you can apparently finish in 4-5 hourse (I don't know how I managed to squeeze 13 hours out of it on a single play-through). The artwork is visually stunning. Really nice soundtrack. Gameplay is fun. Provided there is virtually no comprehendable dialogue between the characters, the story was also fairly good. The story gets even better near the end. The ending itself is really nice (won't go into any details to avoid spoilers). Somebody dies and unlike the million other videogame deaths you've experienced, the game makes sure that you're really affected.

Overall, I'd say this game is a must-play, especially because it doesn't even take that much of your time to finish. I don't know if the full price is really worth it considering the amount of content you get, but on sale at a bit over a dollar or as part of a bundle, this game is a must-grab.

Taking all things into consideration, I'd give the game a 9/10.
The biggest thing that really drawed me in was it's artwork. The game even has benches where you can just sit down and enjoy the view. Another reason I loved it was the ending. The only reason I didn't give it any higher is because I think they could've worked on the story a tad bit more and also make it longer. But again, like I already said, there isn't any comprehendable dialogue that goes on between the characters, and I understand that by doing this the game-makers wanted to show you the story and make you see it for yourself rather than have the characters tell you about it. Taking that into regards, the story doesn't dissapoint.

If this game has just been sitting in your library and collecting dust, or you've been eyeing it every sale but haven't decided on actually getting it because you aren't sure whether you'll actually enjoy it, give this game a chance. I promise you it'll be a very unique experience from what other games have to offer.
