Most likely the last time I'll edit this review.

I have a love/hate relationship with this game. Whether it's the gameplay or the laughable amount of rewards we get, I really want to love this game to its fullest. Bandai however still shows after gundam evolution that they cannot for the life of them know how to manage a game and keep it alive.

The gameplay itself is fine. It's one of those types where you either like it or don't. The main thing is stun, which is what the gameplay is based around. You stun with whatever accumulates the most stun, move in to melee, back off, and repeat. Some suits (mainly supports) don't move in to melee so it depends on what role you're playing. The controls may seem slow and clunky at first but honestly it's not so bad. I like how it simulates that you're actually piloting a mobile suit and there's some part upgrades to improve the turning speed if you really need it. Speaking of parts, they're ESSENTIAL to use so make sure to read up on what they do and which ones to take on a suit (i.e a melee suit taking melee parts).

The matchmaking is not the greatest. I'm not sure what happened after the network tests (I think the 2nd test was a lot better matchmaking wise compared to the full release) but sometimes its hard to even get into a match. I've read that some people would get unfairly D/C'd and get a leaver penalty for something they had no control over. It would sometimes take 10 minutes or so just to find a match having to fight against the game kicking you out of the queue.

The monetization is... well it's a bandai game so it's gonna be awful regardless. Playing the game normally nets you very little rewards which makes getting a multi pull from the gacha feel like a once in a blue moon thing. I've been spoiled from the launch rewards which was basically giving us constant coins for pulls so now you have to essentially grind the game to get the bare minimum. I'd heavily go against spending money on this unless you REALLY want the code fairy suits.

Overall, this game had some potential but bandai yet again pulls a bandai. I do like this game and it's honestly enjoyable with friends! I can only recommend this if you're a fan of gundam though.
