If you are looking for a decently made story based rhythm game, UNBEATABLE is certainly one of the better ones to drop in 2025. Its art style is very charming and the 'vibes' the characters and story give are fun to listen and be invested into during your playthrough.

I will however state, that it may be recommended to not play through the story mode until a lot of the bugs have been ironed out.

Multiple sections of SFX not being tied to audio settings, so your ears are blown out randomly during gameplay sections.

Game may fail to load between set transitions, which will be sometimes hard to notice until Windows tells you the game crashes or after an uncomfortable amount of time has passed.

Dialogue tries to overlap between characters to show they are cutting someone off, but it is executed horribly. Sometimes two people talk at the same time, with their speech bubbles over lapping so you can't tell what happened... and that 'Sometimes' is very often.

Playing at a lower difficulty feels... off? Sometimes the notes don't actually feel like they are on the beat. Playing on Expert or UNBEATABLE feels better, but is sometimes disorienting... which also leads into the next thing...

Sometimes gameplay will start while your screen still shows the end of the last cutscene. You will miss the first few notes as you have no indicator that gameplay has started. This may often give you a game over. A lot of the stages in this game WILL NOT let you retry, so you will miss story for failing.

This is ENTIRELY frustrating because I want to enjoy the story, but the bugs make it really hard to enjoy. I am almost tempted to not recommend the game on this section alone...

But the Arcade section and the actual rhythm section of the gameplay is fun. The songs are good and pleasant and the game looks good while doing it. At the end of the day, this is probably why most people would get a 'rhythm' game to begin with. The gameplay is good, so I would still recommend it....

Just hope the story section is fixed soon.

I have 100% the game. For a Free game its alright, but I'd still probably never play it again.

For a game that cost money? This game is just bad and you are better off getting risk of rain 2 or hades when its on sale.

There are 2 base characters. 1 unlockable character.

Most of the character buffs you get between rounds just kinda suck and the other half support buffs you cant even uses unless you are dead or already through exit gates.

Most of the runes you get at the start are fine but are lacking in meshing with other builds. As you progress through the game you will unlock more runes.

Almost all other runes you unlock are awful and provide little value. They serve to just bloat up the rune pool and make it impossible to find the damage buffs in the game.

So as you play the game longer, your builds are typically getting worse, which sucks because the way that difficulty scales in this game is mainly enemy HP.

Blasting an enemy for 2 minutes to get 2 bloodpoints is not fun. Especially when I cant seem to find the damage buffs anymore because I have to get 20-40-60% damage resist to both spikes and lava and general damage. 3 different buffs that stack up to 3 times. Thats 9 chances I could have a dps increase that is now wasted on something that doesnt matter.

Speaking of enemies, There is about 8 of them. All of them are very one denominational. Which makes fighting half the cast boring after a while and the other half absolutely hate the game.

There is really nothing else to the game. It was fine to play and 100% for free(Your personal data) but I would never spend money to play it.

I have been apart of THE FINALS beta tests and am happy to see that the game has finally launched for everyone everywhere.

The guns in the game feel fine at worst and great at their best. The heavier hitting weapons feeling the best as you get a satisfying thunk on hitting players as they explode into coins whether it be with a sledge/shotgun/rpg.

The movement in the game feels very fluid and can be fun bunny hoping and slingshotting yourself around the map with your team. There is slight issues with rubberbanding when trying to mantle things such as small windows and collapsing rubble which is the worse the movement will feel. Hard to tell if this is a netcode issue or a "My internet with 55ms sucks" issue.

Every class in this game has some gimmick that actually feels very fun and rewarding to play with if you can get it to work*.

Medium Builds have very reliable ARs, a lever shotgun, and a .44 to play around with that all feel great. Setting the medium build to either be the combat medic of the team or a defense machine with mines and turrets feels great to play.

Lights have some of the most fun to play with mechanics in the game. They have a couple run and gun weapon choices (Sawed off shotgun, smgs, throwing knifes.) and a bunch of gadgets that let them run in and out of combat like a war crazed Mosquito trying to dodge getting one shot.

Heavies are the big men of the server and will be usually be there to demolish stuff, but can also be played like a traditional tank like Reinhardt from Overwatch with a Arm Shield or Gibraltar from Apex with a dome shield. They get a host of LMGs that feel alright. A sledgehammer that helps demo buildings. and a auto shotty that rechambers after every 4 shots.

Speaking of demolition, that is THE FINALS' biggest positive. Nearly everything in THE FINALS can be removed from the playing field. It is actually encouraged to do most of the times to make new sightlines, cover, or to stop people from taking the cashbox. I have a higher end rig, so I dont lose much performance when a lot is going on the screen, but my temps sure do take a hit. I assume anyone with a lower end GPU or CPU may be struggling when entire buildings begin to topple.

The two quick play options: "Quick Cash" and "bank It" Feel fine as a casual experience for people hoping into the game, but I am hoping for more casual modes to to be added in the future.

While the two Quick Play Options I mentioned are fun, the best mode is the main mode. "Tournaments" You can unlock this one after playing 12 quickplay games. 8 teams enter. They are then divided into 2 matches of 3v3v3v3 in a modified version of Quick Cash(Longer respawns, Limited coins for each player. Money loss for squad wipes. Match ends when time expires.). The top 2 of those two matches go to the next round and play another round of the same thing. The last two teams of that match move on to THE FINALS and play an actual match of Quick Cash.(First to 20.000k wins. No money loss on squad wipes.)

Ranked Tournament is the same, but can only be accessed after about 56~60 rounds of Quickplay or tournament have been played.

The matchmaking in the game is hard to judge at the current moment as everyone is currently learning the video game, but there is one glaring issue... The community from the China side of the game has a very ABHORRENT cheating problem. Its not a secret that there is not a lot of shame shared in their culture to cheating in online games. This game would be even better if there was an international matchmaking and CHINA matchmaking. (Region Locking everything could be a hardcore approach)

The devs themselves are very vocal on their discord. They are constantly posting updates on development. They do see your feedback.

TLDR:

PROS:
Gunplay
Movement
Destruction
Class customization
Dev Communication(As of 12/13/23)

Neutral :
Voice Overs
Map pool.
Cosmetics
Art Style.

Cons:
Demanding to Run
China cheating problem
Non Linux Support DRM.

Capcap really out did themselves with this latest entry into the Street Fighter series. Everything a fighting game player would want or need at the launch of a new fighting game is all there.

Amazing online stability and netcode.

Robust and customizable Training grounds to lab any characters for hours.

A diverse and great starting roster able to cover most fighting game play styles with at least 2 fighters.

For newer players they added a few more training options that really break down how a character is meant to function in battle and some of their potential combo routes to take during the match.

Even for players who struggle to consistently get special commands have the ability to change their control scheme to modern so that they can still enjoy the game and makes combos.

Street Fighter 6 is probably the best time for any player to jump into the series if they ever had interest in what it has to offer.

The story mode, world tour, is decent for a street fighter entry, but in the later stages it can really potentially drag you down with its poor story if you are focusing too much on it or are in a rush to unlock your main's outfit 2 for free.

That said, the create-a-character is really good in this game and you can make some decent looking fighter or some awful amalgamation built like a triangle to the street.

The best part of this mode is gaining different moves from the main cast of fighters you meet in the story and slapping them on your character. You can come up with some really goofy setups by mixing and matching your favorite special moves from different fighters.

Of course you can also take your amazing World Tour fighter to fight online against other players too.

The online hub is probably the best any other game I have played has had. Blows all the Arc system fighting hubs out of the water. You can battle with your custom fighter there, set up matches at the arcade cabinets. Play old school capcom games at other cabinets. Party mode settings at some different cabinets. Look there are a lot of cabinets and a lot of things to enjoy in the hub.

Best of all? If you dont like the hub you dont have to use it ever. You can queue up from the main menu and wait there or load up the training grounds for additional lab work.

Matchmaking is extremely fast right now and you get in and out of fights quickly. This is definitely thanks to the idea of letting cross platform play so no platform has to worry about dying off later in the series life once the next fighting game comes out to try.

This has been the best iteration of rollback netcode out of capcom. They truly listened to all the feedback given during SF5 and stepped up their game. Almost every match is like butter regardless of who you run into, so there really is no reason to fear the wifi brazillian ken player anymore if you are from the US or EU*. (Experience may vary. I speak for south US wired connection)

I would say that the worst thing this game has or will potentially have is the custom shop for fighters.

Outfit 1 color 1 comes with all fighters, but all additional colors will cost you. One color is $1 USD. and I believe every fighter has about 10-12 colors schemes.

Outfit 2 when you unlock it fortunately comes with all colors unlocked by default so buying the outfit 2 for about $2 isnt that bad.

Of course everything Ive mentioned you can also just earn for FREE by playing the game. The only reason Im mentioning this is that there may be a day that Capcom comes to increase the money earned from Street Fighter 6 by throwing in $10 skins with $1-5 color palates for them. and some people get really defensive when video games start charging for optional add-ons so I thought I would just let it be out there.

Watch content creators play the game to see if you like it. Then decide if you want to buy it. Right now at $60 it is worth the price and if it ever goes on sale or gets a re-release with all released dlc then it is 100% worth it.

I've played DS1/DS2/BloodBorne/DemonSouls/Sekiro and now Elden ring. I can say that exploring in this game is very fun and one of the best aspects of this game. Nothing beats starting the game at the first steps, getting your ass beat by Tree Sentinel for 2 hours just to wonder off into Caelid moments later to get your ass beat more by things you could only imagine in fever dreams. Exploring dungeons early on is fun and exciting when you find secret goodies and eventually make it to the boss room to challenge what are some of the most fun fights in the series. How ever I must say that later on dungeons slightly lose their appeal in challenge as you notice that bosses in later areas are just beefed up Duo bosses that you have already fought previously. Just a slight nit pick.

Combat in this game is as you expect from any SoulsBorne game you would get from FromSoftware. There is a great selection of melee weapons for you to choose from depending on how you want to play. Spellcasting in this game is better than it has ever been with the large amount of spells and incantations you can learn from the very beginning and pick up later in the game. Movement and the lock-on system still feels clunky to use, but as normal this is just considered a design choice to make the game more challenging. The most frustrating thing that I wish that they would deal with is that you will get a large amount of your inputs either eaten and not register or your inputs can be significantly buffered and come out moments later after you've hit the button. The horse used in combat is one of my least favorite additions in Elden Ring. While it is good to move around the world in, I did not enjoy using torrent at all for fighting my enemies due to the clunky nature of it.

Armor selection could be better and a sub menu at the bottom that told you armor passives like the weapons should have been in the game to reduce confusion.

The story and the world is amazing. I had a great time going storyline to storyline learning about each NPC that littered The Lands Between. The many glowing gold erdtrees make amazing back drops when you are traveling to your next location in the over world. Only at the crumbling city did I question the actual look of the game, but it was only for a moment as I was still at awe that there was more of this world that I had not discovered yet.

The bosses are hard and most are amazing to fight. Some have really great storylines and mechanics. Others like in dungeons serve as a good challenge when you are looking for a secret item somewhere. I have to say though, the final boss may leave you disappointed as I found that the hardest part of the fight was dealing with the camera work that the game was forcing upon me. Almost every other boss fight is amazing though and fun to learn.

There are large difficulty jumps depending on which area of them maps you move to. Sometimes you will have to resort to farming runes to increase your level dramatically to have an easier time moving forward. If you are not a fan of "farming" the combat in elden ring you may have lesser enjoyment in this game.

On PC I can say that after a few updates and lowering my motion blur and DoF I had little stuttering. When it did stutter I was malding as it typically happened when a large boss did something with a lot of effects or if too many enemies filled the area. I was playing on a i7-7700k and a 1080.

Keyboard and Mouse Support straight sucks. I 100% recommend playing this game on a controller of your choice.

As I have mentioned above one of the best parts of Elden Ring is the exploration. Please if you get this game take your time and explore everywhere. get your maidenless butt kicked a few hundred times, and take your time. Dont cheat yourself from this game's greatest feature and work.
