I genuinely love the game, like actually love it. The graphics are insane for a free game; you won’t find anything better unless you prefer a different art style. The music is great, and while there are a few minor bugs (like NPCs or story moments missing voice lines), it still all works out because the game is a masterpiece.

BUT the chat moderation is honestly a pain. My first message in two days was simply the word “diddle,” and I got muted for twenty four hours—24 HOURS—instead of something reasonable like ten minutes. Meanwhile, other players are openly talking about grooming, sexual activity, shooting dogs for being loud, and masturbation. I’m not even mad about my mute, because this really feels like a “get gud” situation, but it’s strange that the people saying much worse stuff aren’t touched while I’m muted for something so tame.

Yeah, technically “diddle” can be taken the wrong way, but let’s be honest: compared to what others are saying, it’s extremely mild on the same level as a parent saying “don’t play violent games because violence is bad” even though the game itself contains violence. It just seems inconsistent.

If the goal is to stop certain terms from being used in world chat, then fine I’m okay with being muted from that specific channel. But the mute currently affects every channel: co-op requests, envelope sending, assist requests, boss requests, private messaging, everything. And for twenty-four hours over a silly, non-slur word.

It would be much better to:
Apply mutes to the specific channel where the issue happened, not the entire game.
Use shorter and more reasonable mute durations.
Keep moderation consistent, so mild words aren’t punished harder than actual inappropriate content.

If “diddle” gets a 24-hour mute, then what happens if I make a joke to a friend like “shut up your ahh”? Am I banned for a week? The punishment system just feels disproportionate and unclear.
