Really good game in its core. It is just full of broken mechanics and EXTREMELY sweaty.

My most anticipated game of 2023. Did not let me down. I love unique and interesting mechanics and this one is really up there with Subliminal, Portal and the likes.

This was an awesome base game and a first installment. Can't wait for the sequel with more fleshed out mechanics, more mind-boggle maps and elements.

A really heartwarming, casual, relatively easy but also a really nice and coherent experience.

An absolute bonus is that this runs stable 60FPS with anti-aliasing and 1080p resolution even on Laptops with integrated Intel/AMD graphics. Tested with Intel® Iris® X. Awesomely optimized!

Very grindy for a game that doesn't have to be. The core game is good and as seen by other reviews it is a good game. But I do not have time for this. I did not realize how grindy and time consuming the game was. In a essentially low stakes game that is not a Competitive game nor an MMO the crafting is timed for no reason. Crafting is very time consuming and for those reasons I am out.

Cool vistas, nice looking world even if the game has low texture quality and okay package for a shooter. Shooting is meh, gun damage is ♥♥♥♥ and that results in enemies being bullet sponges. Worth if you need to scratch that Post Apocalyptic Wasteland vibe.

Beat the game in 10 h after trying to play it for a decade. Eh I can see why it was so influential. It is good but as with all classic games in the *current year* it really has been done better after it.

Got the game for 5€ and had to check it out after loving the fist The Division. This on the other hand is your cookie cutter Live service / GaaS game there is. The writing in the story is bad even for a Tom Clancy game. The story suffers from constant upping the ante without any context, story beats are jarring, plot is twisty just for the sake of it and DC is not that interesting to roam. The missions and boss fights are really boring but have some cool locations that NYC missed.

The Warlords of NYC is so much better over all as the story doesn't drag, pacing is much better and NYC just looks much better with that abandoned jungle type city which DC never really hit off.

The "story" conclusion is nonexistent as it is a live service game. Unlike in the first game where there was a clear end to the active story, there is none here and if you want to experience all story this has to offer, come back during different seasons and be confused on what is going on...

Gamepeplay is super repetitive and boring but it feels good in its core. If you just want to hit space bar to get into cover and peek out while holding down LMB then this is the perfect game for you.

I get less than 50 fps in Ready or Not with 3440x1440 resolution with V-sync. Dropping it down to 2560x1080 and enabling Lossless Scaling brings it up to stable 60 with V-sync. Worth it even just for one game. There is some AI artifacts BUT the actual quality is not noticeable in game.

I have been playing Xcom Enemy Within with this enabled on my work laptop and in 1080 i am In the 20's. With LS I can get 45-60 Fps with 720p. Sure the lower resolutions there are more noticeable AI workings, but It noticeable for the first 5min and then your eyes adjust.

Better than original VANILLA Singleplayer. Unfortunately there is no multiplayer. Well there is but check through any forum and you can see that it is all but dead. No large battles and if, for some miracle reason is a big server, it will crash and people leave the MP. So essentially unplayable.

So just play Warband's MP and this SP.

How the heck have people been able to play this enough that it has so many positive reviews. The voice acting is, I ♥♥♥♥ you not, the worst I have heard from a project where people actually have put effort and money into. The story is very Meh, convoluted full of holes and the puzzles are almost like they havent been tested at all. On top of few bugs that result in odd outcomes in puzzles and over all the character development as some paths or option in a walkthrough don't work 100% of the time (i had instances where walkthrough would give options to do something but I didn't have those in game). Also the twists in the game ARE SOOO PREDICTABLE. It feels so off when the main character is such a bumbling idiot that just happens to know trivial things about politics, history and the occult. The player always knows more than the character and it feels awful when selecting from stupid dialogue choices and not one that would actually make sense at that point.

I would not mind if I could play it in French, which might be the better version, but to my knowledge chancing language was not possible. Like its not even the voice acting alone, it is the localization. The actual translation just sounds so stupid. The characters use proverbs which have to be from the original language as I have never hear them in English. Also the translations overall are off.

The pacing is just awful in the first 3 acts. It does get much better in act 4 and 5 as there is less running around for nothing and navigating the manor with loadingscreen galore. I would have stopped, if it wasn't ´for my weird fixation of needing to clear my backlog before getting new games.

Well that was short. Good for my backlog of games but interwebs was wrong. All places say it is ATLEAST 10h. Took me 5. Sure I ran through the story and didn't bother with the side content but now I'm just left sitting here baffled as I was prepared for more.

Okay game, but story was kind of ♥♥♥♥ and the whole last act is characters being edgy as I harvested ONE little sister out of the 9 that I interacted with. So that is why I got the bad ending... nice. Oh well worth playing as it plays way better than the first game.
