This is by far the greatest game I have ever played. Between my three Steam accounts, I have over 2000 hours playing EU4. EU4's depth and complexity blow every other strategy game out of the park. You will never go back to Civilization after playing this game.

Want to rule the new world and the Americas? Sure. Want to form a trade empire? Sure. Want to form Germany in 1500 and cause chaos across Europe? Sure. Want to create the mighty Kingdom of God and enforce catholism on the heathens? Go for it.

Multiplayer is a MUST for this game. I've spent the majority of my hours on this account playing MP with a few friends. We have a blast, and it's become somewhat of a ritual for us. I haven't had this much fun with a game since the Minecraft days of 2013.

BUY IT. It goes on sale frequently for 8 dollars.

The learning curve is steep, luckily there are so many great YouTube guides and a very helpful reddit community (r/eu4) that will be happy to assist you.
