My friends and I actually have a lot of fun when this game works, but we've successfully gotten to play one game together, after attempting upwards of 15. The reason I'm writing this review is because of the penalty timers though. My friend and I queued up for a Rating match just to get my mission out of the way, and due to an "Anti-Cheat Error" his game crashed. When this sort of thing happens in a game like, say, League of Legends, you get a penalty that prevents queueing for 5 minutes, then 15, then 30, and it goes upwards at a reasonable rate for repeat intentional offenses.

My friend and I didn't get to play a single match together, and now he can't queue up for upwards of 30 hours, as a FIRST TIME OFFENSE.

It's absolutely unreasonable even without all of the connection issues and crashes this game is far more prone to than most other games in the first place, but with them, this game is literally unplayable if you're not lucky enough to never have any issues with it whatsoever.

It's incredibly disappointing too, because aside from the Rock-Paper-Scissors mechanic of mech selection, I don't really have any gripes about the gameplay. This game is theoretically very fun, but just isn't.
