Running has given many things, friends🧑‍🤝‍🧑,competition💪,camaraderie👨‍❤️‍💋‍👨.But it was when I fractured my foot🦶 💔 during track of my sophomore year, it gave me my drive🚙.It made me want to prove to myself and everyone around me that I could bounce back⛹️‍♂️😏.The road back to form was tedious and slow🐢.But when I lined up with my teammates at the California Cross Country State Meet I knew it was worth it.🤩 🔥During my time injured⏰, I went and did what I could to help my team succeed💯.And it taught me a lot about what it takes to be a team🧑‍🤝‍🧑👬🧑‍🤝‍🧑. You cannot just be there for the good😊,you have to be there for the bad☹️.It made me appreciate the sport as a whole🕳️ 🏃 . And I am looking for a college that reflects these ideals🗣️ .As someone who prides🏳️‍🌈 themselves in their sport and their beliefs☪️ 🕋I know what it takes to be on a team.🤓
