Why nobody dies in the remake? I missed the feeling of losing my favorite character in each MW just 2 second after being introduced to them.

if they did that, then that would mean theyd have less operators to cash in on with terrible skin/weapon packs

It's because they wanted to cash in on the nostalgia bait of having favorite characters alive, despite their deaths in the OG games being what made those OG games phenomenal in the story telling department.

Imagine if Activision decided to do a retelling of Black Ops, and had kept Reznov alive all the way through despite it working better for the story that he died in Vorkuta.

I've said it once and I'll say it again, MWII's campaign was a dumpster fire of crappy, nostalgia bait, over the top, cringe-filled trash fest.
