Early Access Review
Good Pizza, Great Pizza’ is an addictive but repetitive cooking sim with focus on accuracy and speed. Initially it came across as Bob’s Burgers Pizza the game but very clearly has its own style completely full of charm.

Customers speak in riddles (please, just tell me what you want, haha). You can use hints to clarify but it will cost you their patience. The little anecdotes about why they’re buying a particular pizza is adorable - Like the girl who wanted an onion pizza because she’s going on a date. She doesn’t like dates.

Good Pizza, Great Pizza’ is being adapted from a mobile game and is still very grindy with how expensive in-game upgrades and cosmetics are but there are no additional fees for content; if you prefer, other versions of ‘Good Pizza, Great Pizza’ are available ‘free’ on other stores.

Also included are Daily Quests and Seasonal Events (with expensive cosmetics to unlock). The bonus tips for completing all the quests with the St. Patrick's Day event felt very short lived. A game like this is better for short bursts so 24 real-time hours was wasteful.

I found complex orders (everything but one ingredient for example) too frequent for my tastes. Managing rent and repairs comes across as fair. The story is different, surprising and fun. Be nice to the hobos!
