Early Access Review
I'm very excited to see how this game will evolve with future updates, and I'm eagerly awaiting the release of version 1.0. So far, everything looks great. Every track in this game is a straight banger, and I can't remember the last time I heard an OST selection this good.

The combat is excellent, and the movement is equally impressive. Admittedly, the game is a bit short if you rush through it, but even in its current version, it's too solid to pass up.

Rusted Moss was one of my favorite indie surprises of 2023. Its serene tone, combined with an underlying sense of unease, beautiful pixel art, and captivating music, really sold the ruined world where humans and fae coexist.

The main hook of the game is its grappling mechanic. While it might take some time to master, once you do, you'll feel like a speedrunner pulling off tricks, especially when combined with the shotgun or rocket launcher. Speaking of speedrunning, this game is perfect for it, full of tricks to learn, opportunities for sequence breaking, and multiple endings. I completed it four times and never lost interest.

The boss fights in Rusted Moss are good and creative, particularly the final boss, which broke the game's usual boss formula and was a significant challenge for me at least. Additionally, there are climbing challenges that start off easy but eventually test all the movement tricks you've learned, which I really enjoyed.

There's also an upcoming expansion/update that promises new content, locations, and game mode, which is super exciting. I hope the developers continue to push players to their limits with the new challenges and bosses.

Overall, whether you're looking for a fun game to speedrun or want to experience a metroidvania with enjoyable movement mechanics, I strongly recommend this game. 8/10.

First Person Hooper offers few hours of fun gameplay paired with chill beats to get buckets to. I can confidently say it's the best basketball game I've ever played (and I've played at least two). 7/10.

Dust & Neon's aesthetics, music, and weaponry evokes the spirit of Borderlands within the world of Pandora. It feels like a top-down rendition of Borderlands, infused with elements of roguelite gameplay, which contributes to both its strengths and weaknesses.

On the positive side, the combat is engaging, featuring a fun reload mechanism and good boss encounters. However, after beating all the bosses few times it starts to wear its magic down, and certain events devolve into a repetitive grind, primarily preparing to face these bosses again.

Despite its shortcomings, the game offers enjoyable moments, making it a worthwhile experience, especially when on sale. 7/10.

Void Wizard is an entertaining FPS roguelike where you complete loops of two floors and a boss battle. Its pretty basic but with each loop, the number of enemies per room increases, intensifying the challenge in later loops unless you just happen to have a handy explosive wand. As for gameplay, you wield two wands and can opt for either maximum firepower with two damage-oriented wands or a combination of one levitating/time-slow wand and one damage wand.

Going for the Heretic achievement (5000 score) leads to hour-long run which might take some time to achieve but getting all the early fire rate upgrades can make it much easier. The music pleasantly surprises, with the second track reminds me of Final Fantasy battle themes, which is a definite plus.

All and all its enjoyable roguelike which would benefit from having more content but with such low price I think its very fair offer 7/10.

The rats might be the best part of the game but I wouldn't trust them.

The Thaumaturge presents an intriguing setting where mythological and historical elements blend seamlessly, crafting a unique alternative history. The music adds to the allure, evoking a dark ambiance that feels fitting for the time period. Every Salutor's design is so well done and it was always exciting to see what kind of mythological beings are getting introduced here. (Krampus was my favorite but not maybe in combat)

The combat system offers a unique twist on turn-based mechanics but some might mistake it for being card-based, in reality these "cards" are simply your skills, which you can customize by applying different effects suiting your playstyle. (DoT goated) I had some technical issues with wild crashing (particularly in combat) but just adjusting the graphics settings to be bit lower stabilized the game so a tip for those facing similar problems.

Overall, The Thaumaturge was a pleasant surprise with its distinctive world and characters. However, it is Eurojank through and through, which could affect your enjoyment of it. Yet, if you approach it with expectation of Eurojank and want a fresh, unique RPG experience, I can recommend it to you. 8/10.

With such a wealth of promising ideas, it would be a shame if The Thaumaturge didn't receive enough attention for a sequel.

The Möbius Machine is a 2D metroidvania set on a hostile alien planet, featuring seven distinct areas for exploration. Throughout the game, players scavenge blueprints to craft upgrades for their arsenal and equipment, enhancing their abilities. Exploration is the key in navigating the interconnected world, uncovering new areas, shortcuts, and secret walls for extra scrap.

While I thoroughly enjoyed the atmospheric exploration and discovering upgrades and shortcuts, I found the combat somewhat lacking in impact, although I can't pinpointing the exact reason why. Despite the 5 available weapons, you will most likely just use two of your favorites since you are able to quick swap with two selected ones. The pacing of acquiring new equipment or upgrades is pretty good, there was times where I was thinking "only if I could do this or do something faster" and shortly after I got solution for said problem so kudos for that.

The game offers two difficulty settings: Standard and Retro. While they differ in mechanics such as save features and penalty for death, I found the game to lean towards being easier and more forgiving, which may appeal to some but not all players. Doing a speedrun and forgoing upgrades isn't too bad until you reach the final boss.

In summary, The Möbius Machine delivers on its promise as a solid metroidvania experience. Despite some minor flaws, its engaging exploration and satisfying progression gets a 7/10.

Koa and the Five Pirates of Mara is a chill 3D platformer for kids but offers enough tech for doing some fun speedrunning. Levels consists mostly of time attacks and the time for gold medals are very relaxed so they should be attainable for all kinds of players. 7/10. Chill fun game for all ages.

First I thought this was a weird multiplayer shooter but as a short singleplayer game it kinda works as puzzle game where you need to quickly recognize hat colors from the crowd to hug out the right ones to win.

Dev was fast to respond to feedback about impossible achievement and this is always great to see.

Worth a try because of the wholesome backstory for the games creation.
