I'll start off by saying Dungeons of Dredmor is not for everyone. DoD is a Rogue-like; meaning that it is modeled after the classic game, Rogue. This means that death is permanent and you must re-roll a new character after each loss. This would be a slog if not for the fact that you are able to pick from a huge amount of skills to bring with you each time. This makes each playthrough a new experience as you combine different skills to see what works for you. The difficulty is countered by a lighthearted and downright silly tine that will surprise and delight.

I really do encourage you to try this game. It is super cheap and Steam seems to put it on sale fairly frequently. Plus, one of the DLCs is actually free.
