Short, sweet, and very touching. While I'm sure some nuance was lost on me due to not being a Tamil person, the universal story of parenthood, cultural acceptance, and reconciliation regarding both oneself and those they love hits hard. Plus, the cooking is fun and made me very hungry! And the art is gorgeous, full of life and simple expression.
