I hence freely admit to having lived a checkered life. I was once a womanizer, inveterate gambler, raging alcoholic, and a serious heroin user. And I killed people while in the military. But though coming to Christ did confer Salvation, it absolutely did NOT confer absolution. And, as the LORD will not permit me to simply secret away my sins in a sorry attempt to achieve this, I have been compelled to stand in solidarity with others as they seek their own personal paths to Salvation. So, if I can ease just one person's burden to this end ... then that is at least something.
