Early Access Review
Command Line Pilot is a puzzle, logic, strategy game at it's core. The "cards" (chips to be more accurate) and the turn-base aspect gives it flavor along with the fact that you program your path of action with those chips instead of the typical mouse or wasd movement.

Every world (level) needs thought to be passed and you need to plan ahead and understand from trial and error at the beginning how to navigate and what strategy to use vs enemies.

The game won't go easy on you. It doesn't even offer a tutorial with basic strategies but this is not necessarily a bad thing as you get to explore on our own deeper and you have all the tools to do so (you can move your cursor over the enemies and see what they do, the upgrades are self-explanatory and that's the same for the chips and various power ups).

Even if it's still in Early Access it has enough content to keep you going for hours on end and definitely has replay value as the missions are not always the same as far as layouts go. And don't forget to upgrade your Mech as in later levels you will need it! It is a hard puzzle game but not infuriating and you will never lose without understanding why. You get a sense of accomplishment when you finally bit a hard level and you are never out of option or depending purely on luck.

The music s a bit monotonous and the graphics are nice but it would benefit from a few more images to break away from the "battlefield" or a black menu. I would like to see a more.. "spacey" menu or atleast something to do with a spaceship.. A more "visual" shop as well for the mech or something to show the upgrades and maybe a difference of appearance in the Mech itself.

Especially at this price it is a sure recommendation and you'll get a lot of fun from it if you like puzzles! Even people not typically liking card battlers or turn-based would find this game entertaining. Give it a shot, it won't disappoint you!
