Honestly the game itself is fun enough. Flying around and shooting stuff is fun. And people saying it's too hard like one hit you die and three hits you game over, are right but if you beat the game twice you get infinite continues automatically. There are a ton of checkpoints in each stage so eventually it isn't that hard at all. When you die it takes like 6 seconds to get back into the game.

My PROBLEM is that a very obvious core part of this game is unlocking ships, and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ do they deprive you of the resources required to buy ships. As an example, to unlock one of the ships you need 450 of each of the three resources. Each stage has different resource drop rates. Stage 1 for example on the average difficulty gets you 130~ of resource one, 15 of resource two, and 35~ of resource three. Stage 7 will give you more of resource two, and stage two will give you more of resource three.

Now I am at 30 of 99 ships unlocked, and nearly every ship I can unlock right now costs 450 of each resource which means I need to play Stage 1 roughly 3 times, stage two roughly 4 times, and stage 7 roughly 3 times. And I have to do this for EVERY ship after this point (I assume at least. I can't imagine they'd get cheaper).

Now you do get generic shop currency you can use to buy bundles of this stuff at once, which means every few ship unlocks I can just buy a pack of each resource and buy more ships. But still the thought of playing through the same 3 stages over and over and over again just to optimize my resource output in order to buy these new ships (a lot of which I'm just buying in order to unlock the ability to buy the next better ship) is honestly just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dreadful.

And the obvious bad capstone to this is, they have DLC packs you can buy with real money to give you more of these resources to make unlocking ships quicker. And I'm a pay pig sucker idiot so I'm probably gonna buy them if they ever go on sale, but it's just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ insidious that this is the marketing plan. It's obvious they want you to just nab the DLC to expedite this process.

Fun game! Short, cute, sweet, had a blast! Combats fun, characters are cool, and the stories nice and succinct. Nothing really tear jerky or brain blasty, just a good ol' heart warming tale.

I paid $0.63 for this game... and it's worth every penny. very simple, hopefully the dev adds to it.
I've only played for a half hour. But I can see myself playing this for a while.
I will update my review when I get further in the game. Just wanted to be the first review.

GAMEPLAY is good. And the musics good! There's a lot of talking between the good gameplay sometimes but you can just mash it out.

ok this game crashes less now and it's fun once you start getting some movement abilities and it's pretty as hell

I left this game open overnight a lot but obv if you like the series you're gonna like this. Wish I could date Jusis or Gaius though this is ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up. Bring back Wazy too.
