Absolutely incredible. Heartwarming and happy and hopeful while also heart-wrenchingly sad, each of the characters feels fun and fleshed-out. Highly recommended.

It's nearly impossible to explain this game, so I won't try to.
What I'll do instead is explain why it needs to be experienced, rather than read about.
The Stanley Parable Is a game about choice, giving the player a story to roam freely in, but at the same time, taking away the feeling of making a choice that the player expects. Running counter to how choice in most other games works, The Stanley Parable makes you feel as though everything has been planned out- you were always going to make that choice, and the story continues as such, narrating your tries and desperate hopes to thwart the game's removal of the choices that it presents you with.
The effect that this creates is not one that I have the words to describe, but led me to play it again and again, hoping to discover all of the myriad endings that I could.
The Stanley Parable is impossible to explain, but its take on the nature of choice in games is one that I'm glad i had the pleasure to experience.
