Early Access Review
Great game overall with some negatives.

I have now played this game for some both with friends on a private with server and solo on the same server. So this reviews turning point will be around PvE.

Lets start with the good parts:
- Visuals and aesthetics, this game is so fulfilling. I really enjoyed the general vibe of the world and the visually different terrains and boss areas.
- The progression of getting gear, getting materials from different ares, smelting and finally crafting a new weapon gave me a satisfaction of progressing in the game
- The ability to build your castle in whatever location you find suitable is very pleasing. The detail and unique impression your can put on your own castle is also very satisfying.
- Boss fights I also found very satisfying. You could not just barge in and slay a boss first time and be done with it (For the most parts) - you had to learn their ability set, kite and know when it is your time to go in and do some damage. The bosses are also very unique and each has their own ability and movement pattern.
- The day/night clock i also like personally. It kind of gives a purpose and makes me plan what my next move is during the night and i can smelt, craft, farm and design my castle during the day.

Now for the less good parts/bad parts:
- Castle location is very important. When I started playing i was fixated on the main quest and just built my castle in the first location I found (Bottom of Farbane Woods). It was'nt until i progressed and needed iron I figured that my castle location was horrific and felt like I just had to move. So I could choose to farm a ton of material and let my castle be and make a new one, or demolish my current castle. I chose the last and god that was painful, destroying your first castle that you worked so hard on. The second was moving all the materials to the new location, this was very tedious and frustrating. 1; Building everything from scratch again and 2; moving the materials was everything but user friendly. (I don't understand why its not possible to fast travel with materials, not even with your own built teleport).
- Servants: I'm not sure i fully understand their purpose. You unlock it fairly early in-game but you need to gear them almost as good as yourself and that is so expensive and time consuming that i instead just spent the time getting the materials i actually needed. It wasnt until endgame i built them just for fun and the only purpose i see in them is getting materials to gear other servants.
That leads me to endgame in general. I achieved gear score 81 and killed every boss available. So what now? I dont feel like there is anything to do after you grinded and reached the end.
- The last thing i would like to talk about is the Blood Type and Blood Quality. In general i really love the idea about different buffs and the rarity of finding good quality. Sadly I don't feel like they actually make a very good impact on the combat gameplay - I just use the same weapon and skill set for any Blood Type. My wish is that the Blood Types were even more unique and gave greater buffs for specific type of gameplay. E.g. Rouge gave buffs specifically for crossbow and slashers, Brute and Warrior made your more dependant and your main weapon attacks. Overall I do see that the Blood Types have an effect, I personally just don't think it makes a difference big enough to change your weapon/skill set.
