While by itself EU IV is good fun, mods make this game shine and bring back constant replayability, while I adore Civ V EU IV goes much more in depth with trading and so on an so forth making it even more strategy based than Civ V. However some of the humanity that Civ V possesess is lost in EU IV as its more cold and calculating and does require you to at times make decisions that go against with how you may want to run your nation.
