It's been my understanding that if the development team can't convert its Xbox games control to a PC, then that game is labeled as ♥♥♥♥ and the developers as greedy, lazy and indifferent to us PC gamers. But I guess Mac now thinks differently.


Now Mac maybe I forgot but I thought PC gamers use the keyboard and mouse because you can't be beat its precise movement, and the ability program key.

Mac is just a sellout, you sell out to AAA games that are crap, and now you sell out Xbox controllers,is there anything you will sell your soul to?

Mac you don't seem to understand that your problem with reviewing games is your inconsistency.

You say you give your thumbs up to a game if it's fun to play and that is the first and foremost criteria. Okay that's fine and ok.

But unfortunately fun is not always the only thing in the game, sometimes it's has bugs and glitches, and game mechanics that are just screwed up, it still may be a fun game but you let these things slide like they don't matter in some games but not all of them.

And that's where the rub with your viewers comes in Mac, you'd let AAA developers like the folks that made far cry primal off the hook for their mistakes, but yet you will hammer some $10.00 early access game over the smallest things. I use that game because that's your newest controversy in giving thumbs up. And excuse me Mac but it's obvious to everyone but you that they're charging $60.00 for a reskin of far cry 4. And you're there going wild over the most rudimentary game play, in fact exactly the same game play you could do with a bow in far cry 4, and you're going on about how its new an incredible.

Also the controversy about them using the same map from far cry 4, you completely passed it off and said so what? Mac they're charging $60.00 there seems to be something about this your not registering?

@Voodoojedizin Calm down man, PC is (and always has been) about freedom, modding and options. You play the way you want. K+M, wheel, joystick, controller ..whatever. I will never buy a console, but I do own a controller, because in some situations it is better than a K+M.

When Mack played GTA 5 he used controller for driving and K+M for shooting, because K+M is always better for shooting.

You seem to create plenty of threads trying to bash mack. If you dont like him or he's content why are you even here?

What is sad and a joke, is that people like you that have to stalk others create multiple threads shit talking them because you happen to not like them. It is attention seeking at its finest.

Some games are better played with a controller, which is saying a lot that we would tear a part of a console off to make something better on PC, when you could tear your console to shit and never come up with a way to make it better than a PC. Just because mouse+keyboard are superior tools to play some genres this does not hold in certain other genres, are you going to write these shenanigans if Mack plays a racing game using a steering wheel? I think you might be simple.

Has anyone seen his review on Dark Souls? He says he is on a pc, so he wants to play on a mouse and keyboard (people advise to play dark souls with a controller)

I've disagreed several times with his reviews (Witcher 3, State of Decay etc.) but not once have I ever thought he's been bought, or is shiiling. It's just his opinion!


As far as not using an Xbox controller on PC. Are you mental? PCs can use EVERY DEVICE UNDER THE SUN. That's what's so good about PC! Yes it might take a bit of jiggling about to get things to work, but that's far outweighed by the sheer number of devices it supports. That's proper choice.

Also, I prefer a pad to mouse/keyboard. Mack doesn't.
That has never been a problem for me.

tbf while i disagree with most of what he said he does have a point about the inconsistency, while he is usually great i did notice that in one of macks 7 days to die reviews he said the random gen is good but the latest one he said its bad to have random gen, but it was only once and didnt affect the review as a whole

From what I can tell (that bloody accent!) his main complaint was that they were developing Navegane, dropped it for random gen, then dropped random gen for Navesgane again. Mixed in with a lot of ranting about EA games in general not living up to their promised potential.

As always, it's his opinion. I disagree with him and I'm still subbed.

Wow, if you dont like his reviews move along. I enjoy his reviews and opinions, Some games are better played with a controller I have one, am I a sell out too?.

On multiple occasions Mac has very clearly said he has a particular setup he likes to use depending on the game.

So if it's a driving sim he likes to use his wheel. Flight sims bring out the flight stick. FPS games? Keyboard and mouse.

He doesn't downrank a game for having joypad support. He downranks it for offering keyboard support but not functional keyboard support. Like the Dark Souls series.

Broken keyboard support on PC is an absolute TRAVESTY.
As is the inability to rebind your keys.
