Gifting a whole bundle
Hi, I was wondering if I can somehow buy a bundle to my friend without the bundle being added to my bundles and having to send the keys separately. If possible, how? :conwayheadscratch:

Sure, that would work but would not be as convenient. I have this nagging feeling there's no real way (like, "here's a gift, no other work necessary, how convenient is that!" kind of way) of doing this. :rcry:

Sure. But I specifically asked how I could avoid that.

Because I don't think it's the same. I believe (for I have not tested it but it sure seems so) that I cannot buy the same bundle twice within the same account (within Bundlestars website), so as to gain multiple keys for gifting purposes. So, if I would like to get a particular bundle both myself and also give it to someone, I could not do it using the same account.

So, it's not the same. It's inconvenient: I'd like for them to see a page that tells them "you have been gifted this games bundle" or equivalent.

I take it that it's not possible to do this without creating another account or fuss like that.

I've done this but in a safer manner. I bought several of these just for gifts for friends. I just copied all the games and keys to notepad while online in my account. Then I just waited for him to be online again. Then just bring up your notepad file, copy/paste it to your chat session. He can save his chat session with the games and keys intact. Or he can give you one of his email accounts. But the way I do it, it keeps everyone safe. Just FYI. :steamflake:

Interesting, I did not know that. That's not quite the same as I still have to send keys separately. I guess it will have to suffice for now though. Thanks!
