Cannot make a purchase (updated)
Update : Tim, from Fanatical Help Desk, as been very busy fixing the issue. It looks like my credit card company had problems on their end for a great many of their users. This was fixed and we were able to redo the transaction once Tim told their financial insitution that everything was good now.

In the meantime, I added more bundles to my cart. A new way of making customers spend more? ;)

This has been happening all day with an order for 5 different products at once. Tried both credit card and paypal, but even before processing the payment, it gives me a message that the order was cancelled with the aforementionned error message.

I can guarantee you I have more than enough funds available on both credit card and bank account. My credit card company says there is no issue on their end.

Emailed support already but seems I might only get an answer on monday.
Thus I am trying to ask here and see if it is something I could fix on my end instead.

That's happened to me a few times maybe 2 years ago. I think the requirement for manual authorization was because MY BANK flagged it as suspicious activity (even though it was for probably a $1 purchase). My bank asked me to call in to verify the transaction. Now years and dozens of transactions later, it hasn't happened even once more.


I've found Fanatical (and Bundle Stars) support helpful on more than one occasion when I've had a problem. I've never bought any of their Mystery Bundles but have heard that they've helped people out by replacing duplicates when the customer'd bought more than one mystery bundle.
