Hi, im new here just seemed to me that warsoup is pouring awesomeness so I joined. Haven't played starcraft or halo before but i do play TF2. Any big news off the forums i should know?

Ok so even though the community night wasn't a real big success I went ahead and got TF2 for the PC(only had it on the 360 before) and I got Counter Strike Source while it was only $5. By next paycheck I might get Killing Floor so I can actually play with the few members that decide to participate in the next comminty night or event we have.

What are some really good free games I should get?

@Arch We all did...I think. Join the Boards and when the beta is close the devs WILL announce it.

@Kaphonaits As far as I know UI is not copyrightable unlike the actual look of the guns, char models etc. So no lawsuit would be in order...not to mention the devs hate that UI and are changing it anyway. As stated join the boards and give the devs your opinion, they do read them.

@SenorPancake kudos on using the "!=" for "does not =," it's been so long since I've seen someone use that symbol that it took me a sec to remember what it meant and that it wasn't a typo. Program any?

So, I heard about this through Jazzman and I jizzed my pants thinking about just the CONCEPT of this epic game. Any news on a release date or what can be done to get into the beta? I'd kill one of the developers for a beta of this.

Well it isn't our development - as far as I know none of the Devs are actually in this group.

Either way, in terms of lawsuit they seem fine. Its original enough of a concept, and the art style is also rather original (similar look to Halo's weapon, but not the same look. Inspiration != copying.)

We'll see how it ends up.

Parts of this game's GUI, weapons, and some models are borderlining Call of Duty, Halo, and Team Fortress 2.

I really want to see this game make it big, but I encourage you guys to change some things as to not get a lawsuit up the arse.

Yeah, im a fan of the battlefields, on PC i have all the games accept the bad company 1 and 2, but i got those on my xbox... I have all the Halo games too and im a huge fan so on xbox my gt is= NudePanda 686

Welcome! I also play the 360 and I use my PC for a lot of games as well.
My GT is: A Pancake.

On the 360 I tend to play Battlefield, Halo, and a vast amount of Arcade and indie games (Impossible Game, Monday Night Combat, etc.)

On the PC I've been playing Mount & Blade, Killing Floor, TF2, CS, and Insurgency mod.
