In Dominions 5 you take control of a powerful being that rules a nation and aspires to godhood. The type of Pretender Gods can vary from magically powerful arch mages to huge titans or large monuments. Dominions is a deep 4x turn based strategy game with a very large variety of spells and units.

Dominions 5 development has been going on for quite a while now and the game is getting close to finished. If everything goes according to plan, the game will be released on Steam at the beginning of November. Below is a list of some major things that are different in the new Dominions 5.

To join a blitz you need the host IP and Port so if you dont know it ask the host of the blitz and he should tell you

Blitzes last from 2 hours to 6 hours it very depends on the skills of other players and how fast they can finish their turns. Since there is difference between ending turn in 5 minutes and in 15-20 minutes. It is nice that when almost all players end their turn in 5 minutes and are waiting for 1 guy that takes 15 minutes to end his turn every turn. So i would highly recommend not playing with that guy next time. Since its very huge difference when in 2 hours of playing you are in 20 turn or in 40 turn. Not only you will enjoy it more if its a little bit faster and a lot happening but also you will save your precious time that is running out as you read this.

And for the mods the most common mods used are: Worthy_heroes, Summod
And some less popular ones are: oneage, magic_enchanced, etc. . .
And as Eldritch Gentleman said the mods are downloaded automatically when you join.

There isnt problem hosting the blitz, the main problem is finding players for the blitz.

Oh you, dont you worry about that. I have found different server provider. That will host the server for you 24/7. So you can even play your called "PBEMs" on that without moving your files every day through email.

1, I give you IP + Port
2, You create your pretender god, you join.
3, We start
4, One of us will win the game, by destroying the other player or if both players accept some settings may be changed, so both sides will be happy (for example win by thrones, etc...)
5, Moving in the next round
