Hopefully we will be able to accomplish in this group what is impossible to accomplish on the official forum, that being that we are able to help and support each other with problems we face using this game.

Should you know anyone that has gotten banned from the Official Forum please feel free to invite them to this group.

At this point in time the group is closed and private until we get established and then we can discuss whether we should open this group to the public or not.

Problem I've had is that you cannot post your negative opinion there, nor can you post any bugs either, without being shown the door. Certainly none of that will happen here. Members can help members here.. I definitely encourage it.

I'm glad that your attacker apologized... not many people would step up to the plate and do as such. Thank you for your support

Yea its kinda odd how some get banned.. and others who are just as outspoken are not.

Their reason for banning me was "Abuse of reputation;openly argue with moderator". Odd they reworded Steams rule.... It's actually "Abuse of the reputation *system*" which of course.. that forum does not have.. other steam forums have that type of rep number assigned to each user.

They apparently seem to think the rule applies to their personal/company reputation. If anything they were arguing with me. Also all my comments were my opinion.

Yet when someone actually breaks a "real" rule. . they are allowed to stay, as you say.. very odd situation indeed.

Also odd the fact that people are banned outright.. should it not be a step procedure, you know 24 hours first offense.. 30 days second.. and persistant should be permaban. Also steam should put some sort of checks and balances system so the moderation cannot be abused, as, in my opinion, is the case.

Not that I really want back in there.. just a point really.

I think it works this way, Steam only hosts the forums, they are controlled by the developers or publishers of the game.

No doubt they can not take it over, but they are trying to change stuff without Steam getting wise to it, removing posts & banning people,saying they are trouble makers, all they want at RSC is fantasy land.

I would imagine Steam have to deal with 100's of compliants every days towards differnt forums, here. Just how many it take for them to take a look I do not know. No doubt steam told them to sort there forums out though.

Are you now banned Mr Holliday ? , as I see RSC have had yet another day of vanishing posts on RSC Forums. Yes the new Traniz Kickstarter tempted myself , but need to put a far better package together than the last few efforts. & I do not like the two speed DL service & restrictions, still it is now over due for TS2014 to get a challenge , though end project is still way off.I am still hopeing that the guy behined the comercial version of Zusi 3 can manage to release the hobby version in the next few years. as that seem's to be the most relistic train sim out there. even all the free Rail sims need more backing than RSC as they all better to deal with.

I agree with you on that one Doc.. as most of the high hour fanbase who actually enjoy this Genre are now "shown the door". In my opinion its now the "RSC yes man facebook steam forum".

EDIT: Yea now they just publish 3rd party work.. take a cut, and sit on their butt.. in my opinion, as well as dance around the true issues with confusion and words.

You dared to show a challenger to there crumbling empire if there ever was one in the first place.

Also Trainz are doing something that RSC can only dream of Kickstarting, since RSC as burnt its bridges by crapping on those very people who would have maybe funded such a product.

Also Kickstarter would not work for RSC as it would mean constructive input from the user base that would mean having to deal with people's coments on the game both + & - & after a few days they would have Kicked or banned most of the backers.

They have no concept of PR in its fullest form.
