1. This one has most if not all of the Transformers DOTM Robots, vehicle modes, and specific weapons (That is if anyone's interested) http://www.gfxworld.ws/index.php?/news/comments/transformers_dotm._game_models_lwoobj
2. This leads to the page that contains a download for a model based off of Bonecrusher from the first film (again, if anyone's interested): http://www.gfxworld.ws/index.php?/news/comments/transformers_models_bone_crusher_3ds_max/
That should be the LAST I ever find links to other sites again. This stuff is just crazy :(
Current progress so far: 30%
This includes finding out if he already has bones, getting him to SDK somehow, and have a few people test-run him. Sadly my computer is still in total disaray with errors, missing files, wrong download paths, etc. So if anyone here able to join in and help out, here's the files with the materials and stuff needed to get him fixed and ready to pose: {LINK REMOVED}http://www.mediafire.com/folder/h2h5vdd6li5bp/Transformers_Megatron_TF3
Edit 7/11: Progress so far: ~45%
I'm still not sure if things are properly done. I need to find out from a pro if I'm doing something right and if they could help me in getting Megatron ported.
Edit 7/17: Progress: Down to 30%
I find more info on how to make proper models from Apoc. With that in mind this could take a while longer on my own. Some help and/or proper guidance would be greatly appriciated.
Note to myself: make 3 SMD files: 1. Skeletal, 2.Referance, 3. Physics. Then get textures working. After that, make a mdl. file out of the remaining files. Finally, use QC Generator to finish the modeling progress. http://waspscorner.com/otherstuff/qc/index.php
Without giving much information out, it's safe to say I'm not doing what you are.
The thing is, the model could only be ripped with a 3D screencap. I know absolutely zilch about rigging a non-t-posed model, and in all honesty, I'm a beginner at rigging regular models. Does anyone have any pointers (or links, whatever you have will be greatly appreciated) on doing this?
I'm also open to teaming up with someone after I'm done cleaning everything up, if they want to do rigging/Source conversion.
That was me saying I'm not porting from the Bayformer games or WfC/FoC. Not a mean comment, sorry.
Wii ripping is possible. However I'd suggest to wait till Wii U is. Those textures are horrible.
It's a secret to everybody. People will just have to wait. And who said they were ports?
I will say this. This series recieved only one 3D game. It was fully cast (horribly) in English, but never was released in any English speaking country.
