How do i check my credits?
Thanks.
If you wanna know the values in credit of the cards before sending a trade, then there's no option (yet). I would suggest you to use SCE to get an aproximation: https://www.steamcardexchange.net/index.php?gamepage-appid-730
If you are friend with it and send an offer, after accepted (or declined), the bot will message you a link to see more details of the offer, including the value of each card involved and the totals.
le envie un cromo y me lo acepto pero no me dio nada de creditos.
If I understood that correctly, then you may have missed the following rule from his profile: "To prevent abuse, if you send items without asking nothing in return the offer will be considered as a donation, and therefore no credits added to your balance."
Though @jaks I don't really understand what that rule accomplishes - can you explain what kind of abuse it prevents?
Also I'm not a bot but I do do equal value cross-set trades :) https://steamcommunity.com/tradeoffer/new/?partner=88831879&token=zzrxt3HD
It could be better, it is a bit of scammy.
That bot pays 5 credits for a card but sells the same card for 9/10 credits.
It other words its almost a 1:2 bot.
Have to give it 2 cards to get enough credits to buy 1 card.
So using https://www.steamcardexchange.net/index.php?inventorygame-appid-493790 as example:
Stock for The Sausage card is 1. So if you want to trade it, the website will charge you 25*1.5=38 credits.
Stock for The Basketball card is 2. So if you want to trade for this card, it will cost you 25 credits
What abuse it prevents?
I was writing here an explaination of what came to my mind when I did this. But reading what I was writing didn't made too much sense :P here it goes anyway:
Well, basically when an offer arrives, the bot will give it one category, cross-set or same set depending on its content. For same set offers, no value is calculated at all, it will just accept it or decline it counting the cards.
When it is cross-set, the values of each side are calculated and a fee of 2 credits is added. But there was 2 gray points. What if one side of the offer has no items? It is 1:1? Or cross-set?
I choosed to do it so when you ask for items, no 2 credits fee added. That way you can cashout your credits "for free" as you already spent them in the previous offers you had to make to get them. For me this was the most fair way to do it.
For the other case, when you send items and not ask anything, asking for 2 credits didn't really sounded fair for me, but not adding the 2 credits fee wasn't an option, because that way you could exploit the system adding cards without asking and then cashing out without fee aswell.
Sounded logic to me when I did it, but now rethinking it maybe isn't?
If something, I am always open to hear opinions from the people and ideas.
Okay, this went too much Off Topic. So giving more options for you OP:
You can use the cards bot from scrap.tf. It buys and sells cards for metal, so in two trades you can do cross-set: https://scrap.tf/cards
There's also this another site where you can sell your cards for their virtual gems and with those buy full sets: {LINK REMOVED}https://steamlvlup.com/
I am not a user of any of those sites, so not really recommending them, but so you can have more options to choose from.
As someone pointed out, that bot has own rules that takes stock as another parameter.
But besides from that, I would say it is hard to find a bot that does cross-set for free. If you don't need specifically a bot, this group is recommended: https://steamcommunity.com/groups/honestmerchants/
Does cross set for non marketable cards only, if you are interested in that. Thing that my bot doesn't...
+1: As long as what you're looking for isn't *too* rare, it'll every so often have more than one in stock and then the bot will not overcharge. The wishlist is your friend.
(And even when it does overcharge, there's a difference between 1.5x-1.6x and 2x. Don't exaggerate; if it bought for 5 then it sells for 8, not 9/10. But I usually wait until it's enough in stock to be 1x.)
Just want to say, that's a really cool bot. I'll send people your way if I feel like they can use it.
