And as Driver said, there have been people trying it.
It bothers me when people bring the "logical"-argument to the topic, when the logic behind the subject in question is non-existent.
There are other items that too haven't been "forcefully deleted", like my "AirMech 2 [NO LONGER VALID]"-Coupons, or the "new community"-invites I saw on a valve employee at the start of the beta, that went live as well. You might want to showcase those things or whatever.
And yea - showcasing them of course is an option. But it just seems weird that Valve doesn't remove all invalid or expired invites for things, unless they have something planned way into the future. I'll hold on to mine.
and sadly the invite isnt working anymore to get the badge.
