If you really want to be a mod: Be helpful on the forums. Don't annoy anyone. Never get banned on anything. Use proper English, or stick to posts/forums that are in a language your can use proper grammar.
I got an invite to be a forum moderator a few years ago it was not for my good english or my charming posting.
that was my trick I guess I just don't want to be a moderator.
I suggest you delete the whole thread :P
because everyone can open a steam group and make himself an admin or moderator.
but this has no meaning outside the group.
a steam moderator is a moderator, with all his "powers" inside the whole comminity.
and well, you can only get promoted to this when youre working for valve, or get the badge by accident.
a guy in my friendlist got a steam developer badge just because a game company made a mistake, but that is very unlikely to happen.
