Game counts wrong?

So I'm confused. Now my profile says that I have less game that what my game library says.

I have like a 30 game difference between the two. I've seen others who have the exact same amount and others who are off by several games also.

Anyone know what the rational behind the counts is?

Edit to clarify:

I don't mean literally in my steam app library. I mean in my profile list of all games. http://steamcommunity.com/id/Derko1/games?tab=all

I have 427 games in my Steam app library... but then they have always shown up as less on my list of all games under my profile. So right now, I have 409 showing in that list of all games, but only 381 are counted under my profile.

Maybe there are some DLC listed extra on your library or games with multiple entries such as Call of Duty (min. one for single and one for multiplayer)

DLC and Past FTP games don't count, the game count is now an accurate reflection of games you OWN. =)

I think that it's simply not counting any stand alone expansions. For example, the Dawn of War 2 games... it's in reality 3 games for the whole series. Each one works independent of the other, but it counts it as one game.

i have 5 Sherlock Holmes games only 2 are counted on the profile list, something is wrong with that count (sorry for my english)

Your game count on the profile is HIGHER than the game count in the all games tab. So it's over counting for you.

I also had a friend that had the same thing. Then like 30 minutes ago it was fixed... maybe it's still updating? My count has not budged yet though.

That's only within the client obviously. Not on the site... which is what we are talking about.

Mine's undercounted me by over 300 games and I have taken the fact dlcs aren't included into account already :/
