It granted access to the beta of the Trading Cards feature in the past, but now it's just a collector's item anymore.

The badge rewards actual beta testers. Activating the access pass now doesn't really make you one, right?

On a more serious note, I was trying to express how odd I found the concept of providing a reason to collect useless items.
