So TradingCard guys probably know this site, http://www.steamcardexchange.net. Everybody trades with a bot, and the bot trades with you. Kinda makes sense. Now my question is, does it make sense to do it? Or is it better just to sell and buy on the market? Can't see through that credit system, so hoping to hear somebody with experience if using it actually has a benefit.
Thanks!

Cards on SCE are priced based on the average value of the set in US$0.01, up to an artificial maximum to prevent profiteers from emptying the bot with a couple unpopular cards. So, if a 6 card set had card prices of $0.10/$0.10/$0.10/$0.08/$0.08/$0.08, that set would be 9c per card. This ignores the usual market fees, so stocking credits on the bot is more value sound than selling on the market, as long as you were planning on spending the value on cards anyway. Flipping cards on the bot for cheap badges can be profitable from an account standpoint, since you deal in raw value compared to market fee value, but if you don't watch what you trade you can lose some value by trading some of the "market manipulated" cards.

Overall, if you're a bagde collector, it's a sound service. Just don't use it expecting to make a market profit.

Thanks! Their "Last Card Price" sucks though. 1.5 times the net worth, then it really makes more sense to use the market. I really wanted to use SCE now, sadly they don't have 2 or more cards of any card I want... I guess it's the market then.

Wow, that's exactly what I was looking for! Thanks!!
I actually find the credit system pretty reasonable. With the exception of the Last Card Fee, SCE is actually very useful. Despite the mentioned adversity, I was able to make profit out of it.
