Better get cracking!
no i think every badge give you 100 xp from the seasonal badge so 15$ = 4000 xp but if he buy sets for 333 gems 15$=9600 xp
And 10 XP to the Community Contributor badge for every award given. For the first 100 or so awards, then it drops to 1 XP per.
Not to mention that the more expensive awards can give you up to 800 points.
So a helpful guide that gets 10 awards would give you 100 XP to the Community badge and, at the minimum, enough points to buy 1 level of the Seasonal badge for another 100 XP. That's definitely the cheapest way, though certainly not the fastest. :P
Gems are worth money. Once you talk about buying sets with gems, that COSTS more than free.
Awards can be earned for free. You get XP towards the Community Contributor badge and points to buy Seasonal badges with. You just have to invest the time to create guides, posts, reviews, etc that people will give awards to.
Buying awards, which I assume you're talking about, is probably the second worst way to earn XP after buying foil badges.
