Did you notice that he replied complaining about viruses, start-up, and audio issues with his "Steam" games. In addition to being an imbecile, I think this peasant might be a 'pot calling the kettle black' because that sounds like he has attempted to pirate some games unsuccessfully.
Anyways it was about 3 months ago; he was telling me that HDMI output doesn't work as well on PC's as it does on console because "PC GPU's don't support Dolby Lossy & etc". The dude is convinced that only the Xbox1 can output certain codecs for less than how ever many thousands of dollar$ he claimed you need just to make a PC output basic audio through a HDMI port on a graphics card or motherboard.
I showed him basic output properties on Nvidia cards showing HDMI outputs all audio just fine and he responded by telling me that I "owned myself", he is a "Tech Specialist", and said that "Dolby digital and Dolby digital Lossy are completely different things".
This peasant doesn't know the difference between audio formats and types of audio compression.
This Nvidia support article however did manage to shut his idiotic trap up about HDMI, after I showed him this support page he said I was a troll and then he politely fucked off.

"All consoles are built with painless ways to connect with friends and get gaming within minutes. You don't have to worry about server connections or matchmaking — you just jump online and play."
This was painful for me to look at:
"Two words: console exclusives.
Want to play the latest Mario game? You'd better have a Nintendo console. The same goes for Uncharted on Sony's PlayStation consoles and almost every installment of the Halo franchise on Microsoft's Xbox consoles. If you're PC-only, you're pretty much out of luck. You can only emulate so many console classics, and they'll probably be buggy as hell."
I think somthing is wrong with my pc, it updates automatically too.:
"If your game needs a patch, or if your console's operating system needs a fix, the updates are downloaded automatically. How's that for convenience? Compare this to PCs, where you have to download and install patches and drivers manually."
"These cards are nowhere near as good as you guys think, trust me, I've been in the PC business for over 40 years and I'm an expert. Just get a PS4. First of all, the CPU in the PS4 is an 8 core AMD and since a single AMD core equals 2 Intel cores when dealing with gaming only, that makes the PS4's CPU equal to a 16 core Intel. Also since PS4 OS is much lighter than Windows by 2:1, its less load on the CPU, so theoretically you'll need a PC with a 32 core Intel to match the gaming performance of PS4. Off course the PC is much more powerful but only a percentage of each
core deals with gaming.
Now for the video card, its now an AMD's old HD7870. Lets not forget that games on consoles are optimized best giving it a 2:1 performance difference on the same hardware you got on
PC. Now lets add into the equation that the GPU memory is 8GB GDDR5 unified with the CPU. This is another 2:1 advantage. Therefore that one HD7870 in PS4 equates to 4 HD7870s in crossfire on PC.
Summing it up to get a PC that is the PS4 equivalent you need:
Intel i7- 32 core or AMD 16-core (not of these exist yet)
4 7870s in crossfire or 4 GTX 660s in SLI"
